Is there a list of the most used flavors for making e-juice?

I have looked on a few different sites where people post there recipes and I can click on a flavor and find out how many other recipes use that flavor.. But I am looking for something that would say (for example) 40% of recipes use Dragon Fruit...

I just want to make sure that if I run across a recipe that sounds good, the probability of me having the proper flavors would be better than if I randomly bought them.. In the long run I am sure I will end up with smaller bottles of most flavors while stocking up on the ones that I personally use the most, but because I just ordered my stuff and haven't made my own juice yet I am not sure what direction I will end up going..

I did my best guess and ordered a bunch of 8ml bottles that sounded good to me but the more recipes I look at the more I notice I dont have (yes I understand there are a lot of flavors lol)... I used the example above because I noticed that Dragon Fruit pops up a lot..

Well enough of my rambling :)

Thank you

That's when you start making up your own recipes, based on what you have, which is based on what sounded good to you. LOL
I don't know WHY dragonfruit shows up so much - I know I have some, and don't even really know what a dragonfruit tastes like.

A couple to consider:

Watermelon - it's a great add-in for fruit mixes. For instance, my Banana-Strawberry recipe includes Watermelon. Doesn't TASTE like watermelon, but it somehow adds to that "smoothie" flavor

TFA Double RY4 - if you want any kind of sweet, light tobacco kind of flavor, this is a great starting point. I've mixed it with fruits, even...

Ripe Banana - I liked what this did for a couple banana mixes, never actually tried "unripe" banana...

Bavarian Cream - this comes with or without the diacetyl stuff if that's a concern...I've used this as a way to add "creamy" to a number of recipes.

Have fun!

I have been 'collecting' them for almost about a year now and I keep finding new flavors.

Along the line of Train2's thought, get what you like.

I started out DIY by using recipes. Later I found that I like to mix individual flavors and then make mixes out of those. I like fruits, especially the Lemons and Limes. All citrus's and now lately I am finding I like the creams. I typically keep about 40 different 30 ml. Flavors mixed at any time. Every few weeks, I'll make a few more new flavors. The wife and I actually have an endless variety of 'Flavors'.

Cliven, I'm actually going to like your post again in this post because I cant like a post twice :?: so far I have 3 good ADV recipes but not enough empty 30 ml bottle to fill just yet. +1 on the make what you have that sounds good. I have one that has 9 diff flavors because all sounded good to me at that time. Also, yes, it is one of my ADV :D

Some that come to mind are:
Cake Batter
Sugar Cookie
Marshmallow
Vanilla
vanilla swirl
Vanilla Custard
Acetyl Pyrazine
Ethyl Maltol
sweet cream
whipped cream
bavarian cream
sweet strawberry
graham cracker

I am sure there are many others and variants but i seem to use these a lot no matter what I am making

I have to compare DIY juice to my fly tying hobby.... every time I see a new "recipe" for a fly invariably I won't have one of the materials....lol. Same thing happens when I do juice..... If the day ever comes when I have everything I need for a new juice recipe, I'll probably fall off my chair.
So far doing DIY has been an adventure in trying many new flavors and continuing to do so. I don't even want to know how many I have now but to give you a hint I'm looking at new storage cabinets.....

ir really just depends on what you want; if you like fruits get them from a few different manufacturers and see what you like

for me the must haves are
in fruits:
peach (goes with almost any fruit)
menthol (perfect mix with fruits)
koolada

in tobaccos (these are just additives and not real flavors):
EM sweetener
AP a nutty tone

I hate backery and deserts so can't help there
