...and it should be an awesome vape day! I got 2 tank rba's and a telescope tube in the mail today. All excited to try out my new stuff. Laid it all out on the kitchen counter and started to put the first tank together. I'm no noob to building coils, but I stick to drippers mostly (as my Reo/A7 sees the most use). I kid you not, 2 HOURS LATER! The baby's crying, the wife's ...... at me, my son's running getting into God knows what, and I'm still at the kitchen table trying to build this @$&#! atty! So I grab my Reo, take a much needed vape brake and get the baby from the wife.

After dinner and half a movie we put the kids to bed and I take out the other tank (rsst). Build on that was much easier, but I quickly remember why I gave up geni's in the first place, wicking! Good coil, no hot spots, doubled eko wool, 3/4 wrap 30g kanthal. Should be perfect, well it's not. So what do I do? Reach for old faithful, take a squank and a toot and a deep breath and give up! Why does vaping have to be so difficult! Oh wait, it doesn't, does it! I swear I'm about to sell of all my tubes and tanks, get a couple more Reo's, a couple nice BF atties and be done with it. I'm soooo over "shiny-itis"!

THANK GOD FOR REOS!

Only good part of it was the guys I got the stuff from tossed in some juice, both watermelon, but one of them is like a watermelon vanilla, sounds weird but tastes freakin awesome! Other than that it might all just go in the classifieds. I could use some money in my Paypal. I've got another rba coming,a Russian 91, which if you're up on tube trends, I've yet to hear anything bad about the original, the Kayfun, so maybe I'll keep one tube, but that better be one helluva good atty or else it's fate well be the same as the rest. Plus is I can build it with cotton, but like I said, just sick of the hype. K.I.S.S.

Thanks for sharing your experience as a lesson for the rest of us. I lost all interest in even seeing what's out there the day my first Grand and RM2 arrived. Dripping at the thermonuclear level, one-handed, all day long, in a tiny package the size of a pack of stinkies--it just doesn't get any better!

THANK ROB FOR REOS. THANK GOD FOR ROB!

Isn't it funny? Everyone's gaga over the Cyborg (admittedly a cool idea) and I'm like...meh. Haven't popped in to see Mr. Busardo in ages. I wanted a steampunk mod for the longest time and now I'm thinking...I can steampunk my Reo.

That's about it! I never had the patience for all that.

I don't have bad vape days. Maybe a bad vape minute when I need to change a wick, like today. It was pretty gunked up and tasting awful but the fix for that is quick. And having multiple REOs make that even less than a bad minute. :D

I had a few bad seconds today. Ripped the remaining cotton out, dry burned and rewicked.

I'm getting good. Took barely more time than it used to to grab a different tube mod out of my bag. So on a call I built six coils for work.

I've had my Grande since Fathers day, so just a few months. I thought a few ppl here were a tad presumptuous when they said pretty soon I'd be selling off my tubes to get more Reo's, how many does 1 person need right?! Little did I know how wise their word were! Just because you've found the perfect mod/setup doesn't mean you don't need backups for your backups! So in a few days I'll gather all the tubes and tanks I own (minus my ELA, there's still hope for that one) and recycle then into new or used minis, 2.1's, Grande's, 'mizers, or other BF atties and live the rest of my vaping days headache and frustration free! I have 2 kids, 7 and an infant, that's all the headache and frustration I could ever need.

My local B&M ordered an agi and agat2 Knowing that I had a couple of weeks before I would get them. Cash flow changed for the better and I ordered the Reo. They came in the same day as my Reo. I did do a build on the agat2 I haven't tried the agi yet and don't really plan to unless I do it for someone else. I might unload the lesser mods keep one Prothingy and call it done. I haven't got my next two yet but do have the colors picked out. And I'm already thinking what will be the color on number four.

I never had shiny envy or tubesteak fever - but if I ever get it, I can cure it instantly by looking at the shiny tubes ON TOP O MY REOS :)

I started looking at mods, and rba's and said to myself " this is kinda like car parts, shiney, cool, and you can get really into tweaking every aspect "

But that's not always good, I love cars, build them whenever I can. But I have a car I just drive. It's modified yes, but not so much that I have to spend hours working on it every week.

I'm past the days of driving a high hp car, worrying about what that noise was, or if that oil spot was mine. I'll always have one, but when I just need to get in and go I have my car. With a/c, not alot of power and a stereo. A beater to me, but I love it because it doesn't ever let me down.

I like to think of my two REOs as pickup trucks. The powdercoated REO's the truck with leather and chrome I drive to church and evenings out, while the tumbled aluminum's the one with a rubber floor you can hose mud out of, with tree branch scratches down the side from off-roading. Oh yeah... they're both diesels, except the fog is white :D

You know what else this thread makes me think of? The reo/rm2 combo...is as close as I have seen to vaping being as easy as smoking. I spend less time fiddling now than ever. I am positive I can build three coils and fill three juice bottles faster than I can go to the gas station, buy smokes and drive back.

I think I'm probably one of the luckier ones didn't so much get Shiny Fever... I'd look and browse, I went from craptacular cigalikes, to some E-gos (which I still have), then to a Vamo, and now I'm patiently awaiting my first REO/ RM2 combo to arrive (according to USPS, sometime tomorrow). I thought about a Provari. Thought about some of the other tube mechs.... and just thought that there wasn't much (besides stupid tough build quality) that I'd get with a Provari over the Vamo (hell, the Vamo can at least do VW.... I don't know why Provape HASN'T added that feature to the 'vari... *shrugs*)

Tube mechs, kinda the same deal... Already have a tube mod... if I'm gonna go mech, its gonna be the top shelf mech. I love dripping flavorwise, and I love the flavor I can get from a micro+ cotton.

Soooo.... now I wait :)

Oh, and did I mention, that Rob is by far the most active "supplier" on the forums, always around if you need him? That right there was the kicker.
Awesome, tough as nails mod (that can actually get wet!)? Check
Awesome RBA? Check
Awesome Customer service? Check

What else can you need?

That is so cool. I remember when you were still thinkingaboutit - the RM2. :). You rock.
