I know there is a thread on this couldn't find it but there has been drama over a bottle costing an outrageous amount of money but I wanted to mention something that hasn't been said and that is you just don't get a 6month aged bottle of mother's milk you get other stuff like a drip tip etc all this stuff costs...this packaging alone is a bunch...I think this situation was slightly unfairly treated...especially since Pip even says its for the dedicated follower. I can see a fan loving this. Again I compare it to a gamer buying the reg priced video game versus the collector who needs to have the $100 or $125 uber collectors edition of the same game just because he/she is a fan. Shoot I'll admit I'll take one if I had the money! :D Not hatting or trying to stir up tangs just think more info needs to be added to the convo :p

Edit/Update: Less this post is misunderstood the point of it is to add information that was missing from original thread and that is at least two things: 1) Who the actual target market is. For this is NOT for casual vapors and certainly and obviously not DYI but for SB fans. As she notes its for the "most dedicated enthusiast" 2) What actually comes in the Obsidian Edition not just a bottle which was propagated

Look I get the point but its a collectors item. No? Seriously I am a huge gamer girl and I watch people drop 100+ dollars for collectors editions of video games I just paid $59 for. Why? Because they get some stupid poster and a metalic case that goes with theirs when I can have same game for less. I see it as much the same. This is for fans not for "suckers" as someone mentioned and "you" but I see why someone would...not sure why that is so hard to understand..maybe some hate SB for the ingredient thing and its being taken out on this "fan based product" I am not sure why everyone is so hurt :)

There is a slight chance that Pip was like "we have all this unsold MM since the bad press so lets doctor it up in these fancy collector box sets that are going to cost us a bunch of money to produce in such small quantities" honestly that could be it but I seriously doubt that I see it for face value...its not just the juice you have to see its for the die hard, i mean DIE HARD, SB fan who just wants everything SB...like their t-shirts and hats and soon to be their own line of vaping gear and mods.

That is all no hard feelings I love all yall :toast:

What? How dare you voice your opinion! Such tolerance will not be tolerated. hahaha just kidding :p That's awesome that you are getting into DIY...I wish I found a clone like Mothers Milk or something like it doesn't need to be MM I just love Starwberries and Cream and MM has a unique smoothness to it that is hard to emulate I would imagine...hence being able to sell a clone recipe for $500. Happy vapping Ontario!

Doesn't change the fact that's it's a 6 month old bottle of $22.00 MM.

My 3/4 full bottle of MM is almost at 6 months. I'll sell it to you for $75.00.

If you can reproduce the SB drip tip, before the roll out, and nice display box and whatever comes with it you got yourself a deal...oh and I'd like the Obsidian bottle too because it's cool looking...so just put your 3/4 juice in there thanks...just kidding with ya ckquatt :p

I do understand what the OP is saying though - I have in my life collected other things and have seen outrageous prices paid for collector items - (go to eBay and check out the prices on Blair collectable bottles of hot sauce as just one example) The way I see it it's you money so feel free to spend it however you want it on whatever you want to spend it on

Sadly, there is, as has been said, a sucker born everyday. I get the whole capatilism thing, really I do. I have no problem with the seller, it's a great gimmik, I watch wrestling, I love a great gimmik. I also know wrestling is fake. If people want to give away their money, that's on them. It's a great gimmik, I just don't think, for myself, I could, with a straight face say "steeped in a special way" and look myself in the mirror the next day.

She is absolutely shameless ! Here's a woman who makes a video denying there are diketones in her juice and claiming she is a victim and people are out to destroy her, and at the same time she links to food industry articles claiming that diketones aren't really harmful !

maybe it was aged in oak or some other cask. five pawns do it with their reserve and that new juice. people can buy whatever they want to buy. the price is whatever the person want to pay for, and if $120 is right price for them, who am i to day it's rip off or not? i used to buy reeds for my pipes.. each one would cost around $20-25. and last very short time, specially down here in humid south.. i would pay more if the specific brand has the right pitch. funny thing is if i get a batch of them, half of them are useless. but i still bought them since i needed them to play the bagpipes. price is what one is willing to pay for.
