I dunno Cheryl, looks like a generic banner now. Is it okay in the other group? Date's all screwed up too. Strange.

I've had screwed up dates before but March 28 was 12 months without a puff of smoke. Thanks Cheryl

Hello Garemlin. You do not know me and I just happened upon this post. I am here to confess that with delivery of this wonderful piece of information, today would be the first time in my many years on this planet that I could kiss a stranger square on the lips! Thank you from the bottom of my heart. That is all.

Random acts of kindness do have their rewards. LOL

I haven't smoked a cig in a year now. I am 67 years old, and smoked 3 packs a day for over 40 years. I tried to quit many, many times with no success. I did patches, various prescribed meds, acupuncture, hypnosis, and anything else I could find. I quit once for 3 months, gained 25 lbs., and became such a miserable cranky person nobody wanted to be around me. It was killing me, I couldn't breathe or even to take a walk, my nasal passages were a mess, I had trouble sleeping at night, and couldn't smell or taste a thing. I was spending over $300 a month on cigs, which were discounted at a native American casino. I couldn't go anywhere to activities because of the various public smoking bans.

vaping has saved my life in so many ways. I can't completely undue the damage that smoking caused, but my breathing is better( I now walk 2 miles a day), am starting to taste and smell again, and can now socialize in public again. Life is again worth living. The various forces trying to stop, or tax, or regulate vaping know not what they do. For all those hopelessly addicted to cigarettes there is now an alternative that is healthier and actually works, and the anti-vaping forces may be killing those folks. Thanks to everyone on this forum that helped guide me to a healthier and happier life.--Hawk-- `

Just posted this on another thread, but wanted to share with all the Mt Baker folks, who have helped me find quality juice at a great price. Used to over $300/mo. on cigs, but now spend less than $40.

I got vape mail today! 30 ML each of pineapple, cinnamon roll and chocolate frost. I also bought 2 flavors I hadn't tried yet, 15 ML of freckled lemonade and key lime. The free sample they sent was cantaloupe. I asked in comments to send my sample in 6mg and they also sent it in the 50-50 that I use. I didn't ask for a specific flavor because I like surprises ;-)
The freckled lemonade is great right out of mail. The cantaloupe is good but think aging will help it. The key lime for sure needs aging. Very bitter tasting, but I have faith that it will be great in a couple of weeks!

tobacco free since 8/03/2013

I loved your story...Congratulations to you. It's easy to forget sometimes, as simple as it seems, That Vaping saves lives. Vaping also improves ex-smokers health dramatically. I know exactly what you mean about the breathing getting better. Even my Dr. took note of my improved breathing. IMO if you want to save Tens of thousands of lives you just have to help the willing find a reliable battery setup and help them find good, clean, inexpensive e-juices(MBV) ..It's really that simple --- except at some point we will have to Fight the powers that be to keep it legal. It scares the hell out of me to see BT buying up e-cig companies for fear they will strike an expensive deal with Washington that forces smaller companies out of the equation... Too many lives on the line for BT to be calling the shots again. They don't care about peoples health. They care about profits and thats all... The Politicians aren't really any better it seems. Talk about "Blood on your hands"...Greedy bums. I hate em' Anyways, So happy to hear about your journey and keep up the good fight...-Dave

Life is good. I hope you are all well and vaping contentedly.

I finally got my Protank 2 knock offs from fasttech. Only took 2 months. I'm pleasantly surprised by the quality, and after a refit with Kanger coils I am enjoying some neglected juices from the steep locker. I installed some kanger air flow controls and am a happy camper. I mixed vanilla butternut and caramel candy 18mg 50/50, and liking it a lot. I also got a smoktech ACE vv/vw mod, which is serving well so far. Another pt2 has Sticky bun 18 mg 50/50 which I'll like a lot once I get the watts dialed in. Next up is grape, then Irish creme.

I set up a 30 year pack a day friend with a itaste vv3 and a T3s topper full of orange dream bar. Anxious to hear how she likes it.

As a side note, we saved nearly 100 dogs from the shelter last month. I love my job!

this is So Great. Very Proud of you!!! You remind me of my Dad he's now 72. But he's the one that introduced me to vaping nearly 3 years ago. It took me a few months to get use to it but after I did I haven't looked back. Congrats on your 1 year!!!
