Lots of great posts here... we do need to get busy though as LeDean is wanting 1,000 posts... I do have tons of very happy memories and was lucky enough to have my Dad around until a year and a half ago... His Dad died when I was only 7, but my mother's father was alive and there for me till he died... Enjoy them while you can! 
The best fathers day cards or presents are always home made.

Thinking back on my mom's dad, who I barely knew as he died when I was only 6 years old..have two distinct memories of Grandpa though.. First, he always shook my hand, but he always made me shake with my left hand as he was left-handed..always threw me off cuz I naturally would always put my right hand out haha.. Secondly, he would always (whenever we saw him) ask my lil sister 'what are you made of Allison?' and she would say 'country sunshine'...then, he would ask me 'what are u made of David?' and I would always say 'country bulls***' (srry for the expletive lol..now that I think about that, why did they let me say that in first place!?) Anyways, that is what I remember most bout my grandpa

My dad called my moms corned beef hash junk. We all did. Made her mad every time lol. It tasted good it was just a bunch of "junk" put together
His favorite food is meatloaf but my mom wouldn't make it cuz all us kids hated it
My dad made a dish of junk he called sausage surprise. Only thing consistent in it was the ground sausage.
