Mountain Oak Vapors could have called this flavor Christmas Morning. It is a delicious peppermint flavor with a hint of dark chocolate and creamy vanilla. It really does send me back to Christmas morning, walking down the stairs in my jammies, finding a tube sock filled with candy canes and other confections. Eating the broken candy cane pieces first as I find, deep in the stocking, a yoyo, a pen that clicks to four different colors, a laser light to endlessly tease the animals, and a Formula One Hot Wheels car. I really enjoyed last Christmas.
Winter Rain is a very clean flavor. The ejuice starts out as a creamy dark chocolate/vanilla mix. On exhale, the peppermint takes over. The creamy chocolate remains in the background, softening the sweet peppermint. And it is a sweet peppermint.
The first all day vape I ever had was a cinnamon red hots flavor. I never thought I would like CRH, let alone it being an all day favorite. Winter Rain is the same way. I would never have guessed that a peppermint chocolate could satisfy my vape cravings. But it really does.
Winter Rain is one of the darkest ejuices I have tried from Mountain Oaks. It has a nice throat hit, and the vapor comes out in clouds. It handles higher voltage nicely.
Overall another really good blend of mint and chocolate from MOV. I am not sure it belongs in the Sweetwater Valley Pack, but it is a soft sweet vape and earns an easy A from me.
Apple Valley first look: Apples (tomorrow's review may be short).
Winter Rain was my first love. As a former menthol smoker and a lover of a peppermint flavor from one of our first vendors that we used I was dead set on going above and beyond their taste and creating something truly special. To this day I still think winter rain is a very special vape that has unique characteristics as far as peppermint goes.
It's received good feedback, but perhaps not as much attention as I think it really deserves. Those who do pick it up have nothing but great things to say! I'm really glad you enjoyed it too. An A from you on a menthol blend really means something!
