When we left off, I was enjoying some Heavenly 7 in my MOV Rebuildable Atty. I chose Heavenly 7 because I wanted to check out a complex flavor, and the atty did a fabulous job in bringing out its complex blend. Now it is time to try and change the flavor to a more subtle one, Blue Ridge.

I figure I will start with the easiest way to change flavors. I vaped the H7 until it is almost gone, then I added a couple drops of Blue Ridge. This would probably work if the two flavors would compliment each other, but I get a strong background of H7. The H7 and BR fight each other for dominance.

So I take the cap off and hold the coil under running water for about 15 seconds. I can tell right away that the wick is clean and white. I blow out the excess water, holding the coil housing at a slight angle so I don't get a face full of backsplash. Then I do a little dry burn to get rid of the last of the water.

Now back to dripping my Blue Ridge. A couple drops on the coil and replace the top cover. The first few hits are muted. By the second fill, I have clean good hits of BR. No trace of the Heavenly 7 remain after my brief faucet rinse. Good vapor production and good taste.

This time I move to a more compatible flavor. I soon find I can switch fruits and menthols and certain tobaccos without cleaning the atomizer. When I drastically change flavors, all it takes is a rinse. The water mutes the flavor only for a short time (one fill). If I don't want to have the weak flavor, I can set the atty base on top of my computer monitor for about an hour. That fully dries the wick. But who wants to wait an hour?

This atty is perfect for testing flavors and for everyday dripping. It really is easy to rinse out the old flavor. Just plain tap water.

Next step: rebuilding the coil. I don't really want to try this. The coil looks so tiny. But I will never learn how until I do it. I might try to wrap a higher ohm coil, but I will probably be lucky to get anything that works.

Hangdude! Good to see you - and another great review as per usual!! :)

Good morning, MOV Squad!

My husband stayed up all night doing God knows what...I know I can't find my tweezers. And for some reason, he was strutting. o_O

Anyways, we have some great deals right now. The kits are very cool. I may end up decorating one of those Grippers with very girly decorations. The thought has crossed my mind more than once.

Also! If you need a good laugh, take a gander at this. CLICK (Because it MUST be a joke.)

Morning LeDean!! Gonna go check out the new stuff on the site. I'm soooooo afraid of rebuildable anything cause I'm such a klutz....I tell you what though, that is the direction that everyone is going...guess I may have to check one out....maybe....sometime....later.....

K - think I'm all caught up - had the second half of a root canal today - fun fun! Novocaine starting to wear off - I think I see a nap in my immediate future!! :) Hope everyone has a fantastic Tuesday! :)

Krusty knows all too well about root canals, Have had enough dental work for three lifetimes. If I had the money I spent on my teeth, I could buy Toledo, well, maybe Detroit:)

Does the absinthe minded work in a tank? I'm not sure which juices crack them, and I am scared to try it! LOL I have been vaping this all day!

It definitely works in a tank - I've been vaping it in my Smoktek DCC tanks since March...go for it!! Knew you'd love that one...and if you like that one, you may want to try the Black Forest too - its a very smooth and complex flavor with the same absinthe or black licorice base and some very interesting undertones... :)

Haha lol Krusty - me too - now I have to fix something like 13 cavities...YIKES! I don't particularly care for going to the dentist in general, but I'm very lucky I've got a good one - he's very gentle and softspoken and explains everything he's going to do!

I only use PE Tanks or Glass Tanks so I never really have to worry about this. I do not believe the absinthe flavor will have any ill effects in a polycarb tank, but I cannot say for certain without having personally tried it myself.

I haven't tried it in a tank, but I have had it in my clearo for about a week and no problems yet.

Good to know, thanks!! I wasn't sure about clearo's since the juice is so thin, I've had trouble before with the thinner ones leaking into automatic batteries.

Thank you! I think I need to invest in a couple good tanks =] C'mon payday! lol
