Has anyone else noticed that after growing a mustache, little beads of water collect on the 'stache if you exhale your vapor through it?

Also, if you blow your vapor through a laser light it dissipates very quickly but if you blow it into a cold glass of beer it will hover there like a private ozone layer protecting your brew from UV rays for hours at a time until you blow it away.

Ever try that test?

Where you blow smoke through a tissue paper and see the brown crud that comes out of the cig?

I saw this video where they did the same thing with an e-cig's vapors and all it did was get wet. No brownness.

The vapors we exhale aren't 100% water vapor, but it's definitely not the same as the smoke from a ciggie.

Yeah I've done this on demand for several of my smoking friends. It's amazing how much gunk gets left on the paper from only a single cigarette exhale.

I think a lot of smokers look at the filter of a finished cigarette and take comfort that all that nasty stuff didn't get into their lungs. The test you suggested is a real eye opener for non-believers.

I remember my primary school science demonstration where the teacher actually built a rudimentary filter using a transparent PET bottle, some cotton wool and water to mimic drawing tobacco smoke into the lungs.

At least that made me not smoke throughout my primary school and secondary.
