Wahoo! Thanks Elphaba! I'm not sure what "fill your boots" means, but I'm sure we'll be able to chat endlessly about movies & TV shows (until the thread gets hijacked..at least).

Eta: never seen torchwood, but I know it has a huge following.
My favourites are:
NCIS
Law and order svu
Cold case
Hmm, there's a pattern here lol. But generally our tv is always on Playhouse Disney or ESPN, so I read a lot or hang out with you guys via Tapatalk. But the above shows I tape and watch when I'm home alone. Like today (neck could not face work today).

NCIS & Law & Order (SVU & CI) are my favorites too! They're Always ON somewhere.
My brother got me watching Torchwood, and it's quite good. But, we have to wait a very long time between seasons, since BBC has to release it in the US late or something. Same with "Being Human". A great BBC program, but now there's an American version that isn't quite as fresh.

Oh yeah, House is good too! I can't stand to watch Hoarders, but I do anyway. Then I go nuts cleaning my house!
Hoarders is one of my dirty little secret shows. Publically I ridicule any form of reality tv, and belittle those who watch it.

im really bad, im addicted to all the really bad reality shows like the bachelor and jersey shore, but i do love sappy abc family shows like make it or break it, secret life of the american teenager and the nine lives of chloe king. and i do find myself recording law and order svu, cold case, and csi alot!

I don't watch too much tv and when I do it's usually after the fact when it's on dvd or something. Did that with lost and watched them all straight through! Addicting...
The shows I love most though and will watch aaaaalll the time if I can are all funny shows. Always sunny, archer, WILFRED (my personal new fave!) south park and big bang theory are all awesome!!

I am excited for Dexter to be back in the fall too. Not enjoying Trueblood as much this season for some reason.

I've not watched Modern Family, the Middle, or Dexter! I'll look on Netflix and see if they have them.
I loved Roseanne. Actually, I didn't like the show when it was on prime time. But I started watching it late at night on Nick at Night and got hooked.

I love the Office, but only the orginal (British) version. I watched the one with Steve Caroll once and would never watch it again. But probably because I'd been spoiled by the original.
I watched the first 3 seasons of Dexter in one week when I was first off sick with my neck. I love Dexter!

Elpha - Is the British version of the Office a lot different than the American one? Why did you like the British one the best?
For comedy: Curb Your Enthusiasm, Louie... occasional cartoons (family guy, etc. ...no, I am not a Brony). Daily show.
I've seen nearly every L&O in existence, though the show just doesn't seem the same without Orbach. I like the CI's with D'onofrio (though I prefer the original -- Columbo), but the writing went downhill fast when he took a break.
I really tried to like CSI. I watched the premier and was just so baffled when a crime-scene guy made the arrest! When I tried watching it again recently I just couldn't stop wondering why they never turn the lights on.
The Office is solid, but since I had watched the original one first I haven't felt the need to watch the new one. Same with Wilfred. And Shameless (though I'm a big Macy fan). And Being Human.
