Happy Friday, everyone! Here, have a quiz. :D

There are eight screenshots below, most of which should be fairly recognizable if you've seen the movies. The question is: which of the movies can you identify?

Please respond with movie numbers only, not titles.

Good luck! :)

As usual, I'll post the answers Sunday morning.

I don't know any this week. :( But, after you post the answers, I'll then remember the movies I've seen.
I'm sure I've seen all of these movies, but probably fell asleep half way thru...that's got to be why I don't know them!
#6 was a family favorite & I think we wore out the vhs tape watching it over &over...& over!!!

I have a feeling that I've seen most of these movies too. Most look familiar, so I probably fell asleep before they ended or I'm just braindead right now!

Time for some hints, perhaps?

#1: Max is a mathematical genius who is convinced that there are numerical patterns to be found in everything in the physical world. An ongoing project of his is to unravel the hidden, repeating patterns of stock market activity to determine future trends. Along the way, he uncovers a 216-digit number that some believe represents the unspeakable name of God.

#3: The movie's title character is a playwright who is brought to Hollywood and is under contract to write a "wrestling picture." But, believing the subject matter to be beneath him, he struggles mightily with severe writer's block and finds himself in a living hell. Literally, or figuratively? Yes. :D

#7: The 2008 remake of this movie does away with Gertrude the duck (pictured), Hans--the duck's owner and a primary character, and even excludes the story's antagonist, Count Saknussemm. In fact, the original story's renowned author isn't even listed in the 2008 movie's credits.

Hope these help! :)

    in a cave, eh?
More hints (if you need 'em). Just select the text if you want to view 'em.

    1. Yep, that's a DIY trepanation about to happen there.
    2. "I think you're all f--d in the head. We're ten hours from the f--ing fun park and you want to bail out. Well I'll tell you something. This is no longer a vacation. It's a quest. It's a quest for fun. I'm gonna have fun and you're gonna have fun. We're all gonna have so much f--ing fun we'll need plastic surgeory to remove our god--n smiles. You'll be whistling 'Zip-A-Dee Doo-Dah' out of your a--holes! I gotta be crazy! I'm on a pilgrimage to see a moose. Praise Marty Moose! Holy Sh--!"
    3. Coen Brothers, again.
    4. The girl wears a bada-s prosthetic.
    5. For some reason, I'm reminded of this video:
    6. Fluid breathing is a reality. Five rats were used for five different takes, all of whom survived and were given shots by a vet. The rat that actually appeared in the film died of natural causes a few weeks before the film opened. According to James Cameron, the scene with the rat had to be edited out of the UK movie version because "the Royal Veterinarian felt that it was painful for the rat". James Cameron repeatedly assures that the rats used for this take didn't suffer any harm.
    7. The giant Dimetrodons were actually Rhinoceros iguanas with glued-on sails, The giant 'chameleon' later in the film was a painted tegu lizard.
    8. Remake of a 4-season tv series.
