Happy Quizday, guys!

There are eight screenshots below, most of which should be fairly recognizable if you've seen the movies. The question is: which of the movies can you identify?

Please answer with movie numbers only, not titles. .

Good luck! :D

As usual, I'll post the answers Sunday morning-ish.

I think if Caff hadn't cropped Kevin's head, you would have figured out #7. :)

(Or if you had recognized "Brad" from the Snickers commercial.)

I never saw this, and I have no idea what you're talking about.... but I know this movie and all the others :)

...actually I think 2 is one of this director's weaker efforts. I can think of three of his other films I like better off the top of my head. There may be more.... dude is insanely prolific.
6 was a pleasant surprise for me. I usually don't like 'kid' films.

Yeah, he's definitely made better movies. Not that this one even came within miles of the "mainstream," but I don't know if any of his other films were nearly as widely seen in the U.S.

I'll stop short of mentioning any of his other movies by name though, as it's likely that at least a couple will be making an appearance in some future Quizzes. ;)

I never would have seen #6, or even given a second thought, if it weren't for the director.

Edit: Adding Quiz image for easy page 2 reference...

    in a cave, eh?
    Hints if you need 'em:

    1. Okay, this one should be pretty obvious, but here's the classic line from that movie:
    2. A deeply disturbing film, based on a Manga, about a man who is manipulated into becoming an assassin by having traumatic false memories implanted in him. You could say he has an "itch" to scratch. ;)
    3. A factory owner is presented with a ring by his workers. It was secretly made from a worker's gold dental bridge and engraved with a Talmudic quotation, "Whoever saves one life saves the world entire."
    4. A fictional account of a moon mission that was officially cancelled but was secretly carried out and no one returned. The story is revealed by recently found footage of the ill-fated trip. Kind of like a Blair Witch in space.
    5. A post-apocalyptic action film that sees Denzel Washington delivering the last remaining Bible to a safe location.
    6. A Roald Dahl (Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, James and the Giant Peach, etc.) story. This one's about an animal stealing fowl from 3 wealthy farmers.
    7. A heartwarming story about a kid, Kevin, who celebrates Christmas with the blood of two inept thieves. :D
    8. A naive young man heads to New York with dreams of making it big as a hustler and gets hit hard by reality.
