So here I am, quite happy with my vaping, but still not fully satisfied.

I started with small V2 e-cigs and was unhappy with the short battery life, amount of vapor and flavor

I moved on to a kGo kit, that really works for me right now

I couldn't figure out dripping (yet) - I keep getting a burnt metallic taste or I flood the thing. Any hints would be appreciated. I also am assuming that there are better atomizers out there than what came with my kGo kit, but I don't know what to look for.

I didn't even try carts

I settled for a while on Boge 2.0 ohm cartos which I still think are awesome. I got filling them with a syringe down to 15 seconds flat, and no mess when I don't forget to put the condom on the battery end. They last too little though, and the flavor goes down halfway through. Topping off with a bottle is messy and I can't really do it during the day. I also keep forgetting what juice is in what carto and that complicates things.

I am now trying CE2 clearomizers, and it's not that bad. They last almost long enough, and I like that I can just take all the juice out, put it back in the bottle, wash and dry the thing quickly and put in another juice. Still, there is a lot of fiddling involved to make them wick properly. And " - Hi, man, what are you up to | - Nothing much, fluffing the wick" makes for an interesting conversation.

So, where should I go from here? Will a tank (or tank-o-mizer?) be a good solution? Should I look into bottom feeders or whatever they're called?

About this last one, I am reading and I am not sure how it works. Do I need to mess around with those atomizers a lot to fix them for feeeding, or do they come already prepared? How come they don't flood and you end up drinking the juice instead of vaping it? Do you get dry hits often, or is it easy to make them vape consistently?

Is there any other setup I've missed? Something fairly hassle free, that allows you to vape for longer times with a decent flavor?

Just get these for dripping. You'll thank me later. BetterLife 510 3-Hole Dripping Atomizers (2.0-2.5 ohm) [BL510-3Hole] - $4.99 : ValueVapor.com, Discount Electronic Cigarettes and e-Liquid
Tank-o-mizers are good on the kgo if you like the ce2s. I haven't had any more luck with the fancy ones with fancy names and higher prices. When it comes right down to it, it's just a ce2 and you either like them or not. Check this one out. RIVA-T TANK - $4.99 : Cropduster901!, Home of the B-52

and while you are there you can try out an echo-e carto. 3mls and nice vapor. make sure it has the "e" in the name- the regular echo carts are 808 thread.

WELCOME TO THE ECF

Here's some hints for dripping. You should first prime it. Which means dripping 6 drops in there and letting it sit for 10 minutes. Then you can vape it for 5 drags. Let it rest for a minute or so, then drip 3 more drops in there. Repeat every 5 hits or so. You will eventually get a hang of things. Since you will either taste a decrease in flavor or a very slight hint of a metallic/burnt flavor.

Which is a sign that you should drip some more into it. If you go over 3 drops then you can flood it. Which will explain why your getting juice in your mouth.

If your looking for something that is hassle free and doesn't leak. Then I would highly suggest that your next move would be a REO. Which is a high end bottom feeder. They are for people that don't like the hassle of dripping and still want the same flavor. It gives you the ability to have 3 or 6ml of juice at your disposal.

Just adding my < 2 cents conclusion. I vaped exclusively on these fluxomizers for 48 hours now, and I just switched back to a Boge 2.0 Ohm. Man, I don't know - feels like coming back home :) So much more predictability from drag to drag, no mess, no dry hits and no gurgling. No Vision Stone for me, although it looks sweet. I'm guessing I'll stick to carto based setups for now and I'll get a couple of these carto-tanks. BUT, I'll leave the Reo on the table for a little bit later. Thanks a lot, guys!

Summation of the benefits of a Reo.

You can do anything at all with the Reo. If you want an all day flavor vape with no fuss, put a carto on the Reo and then just squeeze the bottle to keep the carto wet......this is the lazy man's way.......making it a tank carto with the juice supply coming from the bottom instead of being in a tank on top.

Or, if you don't like cartos, you put an atty on the Reo, and just squeeze the bottle every few hits to get a few drops of juice in the atty. You are just feeding it from the bottom instead of dripping from the top....

If you want to test flavors, just manually drip a few drops on an atty and don't squeeze the bottle. You will only taste what you dripped on the atty.

If you want to switch between flavors all day, just put on a new carto filled with whatever flavor you want, and just keep refilling the carto or exchanging the carto with new flavors and just don't squeeze the bottle.

Think of a Reo as a big battery regular mod that you can use anything with. It turns into a bottom feeding all day juice mod only when you want it to, and you can always easily change the bottle for a different all day vape.

Reos are very versatile and will do anything any other big battery mod will do, in addition to being a bottom feeder.

Reos are the most versatile mod out there for 3.7 vaping.

Vaping is such an individual thing (no wonder there are over 1,000 brands of cigarettes) that what someone else likes may or may not be what you will like.
Personally I'll take the simplicity of a little ole Boge carto in a carto tank any day. I just throw in fresh bats, fill the tank, and I'm good for the day.
It just works to well to bother fooling around with all the gadget stuff that's out there.

Hey Elf, You might try a mega dual coil carto on your k-go. They hold about 5mls of juice and it sounds like that might get you thru the day without having to refill. They are e-go so they should fit the k-go and you can purchase just one, at least to try. I use them with a 14500 epower and they are nice when I go places that I dont want to have to top off regular size cartos. Hope this helps.

The best and most sensible way to move on to your next set up is to first asses where you presently are with your PV situation, .. draw out your likes and dislikes about your current set up, and with that information go hunt for the PV that addresses all the "dislikes" while maintaining all the functions that you do like.

If you come here and just ask "what should I get", then people will respond with "their likes" which may have nothing to do with what YOU like and are looking for. Everyone here has an opinion, but what you need is knowledge so that you make your next PV purchase an educated one ;-)

You know that theirs a mega dual coil carto that's specifically designed for the Epower. It's 1.5 ohm like the EMDCCs, but holds even more juice then the EMDCCs do. They cover the cone threads like the eGo dual coils do, but you don't need an adapter to use them.

Elf stone, I would def try a carto tank, or at least even an XL carto. I highly recommend you try the Ressurector cartos. They are designed for 3.7V PVs and work awesome on the kGo. I use them on an Epower and they are the only cartos I use. The Boges are good cartos, but they only hold 1.0-1.2ml. The Ressurectors are 1.7ohm and hold alittle over 2ml of juice so they will hold about twice as much as the boges do. I use them in a carto tank now and they last even longer. If you want to try a carto tank for cheap, check out the Smoktech tanks. They are cheap and work great. I use the 3.5ml tank and its perfect for Epower/kGo sized PVs. They make a 6ml tank too, but I find the bigger tanks make Epower/kGo sized PVs top-heavy and they look kinda awkward. The 3.5ml tank is about the same diameter as the battery tube so iT looks nice. I fill it in the morning and I'm good all day, yet it's still small enough that I can easily carry it in my pocket. You can get one for $10 and it comes with a pre-punched carto in it and a drip tiP. it comes with a dual coil, but I don't like dual coils at lower voltages so I use the Ressurctors in the tank instead, and they work a lot better. CCV sells the tanks and you can buy pre-punched ressurectors for the tanks, plus they have free shipping. The Smoktech tanks use XL cartos, so the boges won't fit, but I think you'll like the Ressurectors even more if you try them

OK, I am looking at the REO, but it says it doesn't come with batteries or chargers. Is there a place where I can see what batteries it fits for 3.7 V or 5 V and where to b?

Yes, like most mods. You are only buying the mod itself and you have to get everything elsewhere. You can look at this thread:

    http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...if-reo-your-first-mod-what-you-will-need.html

The REO sub-forum has all the information that you would need. So, it's a good idea to stop by and take a look around.
