So, this is happening now:
...High heat index values across portions of south-central Texas today...
Heat index values this afternoon and early evening are expected to climb to between 105 and 110 degrees along and south of La Grange to Gonzales to Floresville line...where a heat advisory is in effect. North of this line to the I-35 corridor...afternoon heat index reading of 103 to 105 are expected.
Just got home from work, cranked the A/C, filled my tank with Casablanca, poured a cold N/A beer and put my feet up.

Yeah, I've lived in this area (New Orleans vicinity) and I hate the summers.

Yep, only 3 more months til it cools down. If it's not very cool by Thanksgiving I get bummed.
Good evening Crew. Regular day @ the "salt mines".....got home.....ate dinner, and then to the park with the wife & son. Just got back, and feel like I'm ready for bed. Thank God that tomorrow is FRIDAY!

.......I haven't even left yet, and I know that they're already missing the amount of work that I would get accomplished if I was there. They never seem to be happy......when I tell them that I'm ready to take some vacation time.........
