Morning all, Happy Independence Day!
Kevin, your story reminds me of one of my best 4th of July memories. A few years ago my mom, her boyfriend (closest thing I ever had to a dad) and I watched the fireworks from his boat in the river. After the show he went to start the engine and...nothing. Mom and I were drunk as skunks and thought it was hilarious, of course. We got a tow from another boat and entertained everyone on the river singing show tunes the whole way to the dock.

Oooh another 4th of July story...it appears I'm strolling down memory lane this morning. 
I was a vegetarian for 5 years. One year, on a different 4th of July, I was also drunk (shocking, I know!) and my brother was grilling burgers. I walked up to him and said "
those smell good. I want one." And that was the end of my vegetarianism.
And yes, I hurled in technicolor that night.

Seems to be a lot of drama in the household this morning.....when hubs doesn't feel well EVERYBODY pays.
Good morning crew. Happy Independence Day to all of you. Hope you all have a great sunny warm holiday. unlike ours down here, it's like a monsoon season down here. Bought over $100 worth of fireworks that doesn't look like we're going to be able to light off tonight.
Should have used that money towards a new mod or something. LOL But I don't think the kids would appreciate that too much.

Rainy days are good days to hang out with a couple of butthole friends from Boston.
They've been smoking since 11 O'clock last night. Had to keep getting up every hour to check on them and stoke the smoke. They've hit a good stall at about 170 deg now for the past several hours. 3 more hours to go and it'll be time to wrap my little friends in blanky's and put them to bed in a cooler until later this afternoon.
