So I've been heavily vaping MsT's SnickerDoodle in Boge Cartos (2.x and 3.0 ohm) without a tank on my ProVari.

After my current SnickerDoodle carto died an honorable death, I figured I'd try it in my J-tank.

Round 1:
I have a CloudsOfVapor.com aka COV "Carto Punch". Long story short: it makes "little holes". These holes work fine for thin juices (less than 50% VG), but the viscosity of heavier juices means that the surface tension of the bubble that forms on the punch hole is so great that I have to HEAVILY thump the tank to let more liquid go in after I vape. Not fun and doesn't result in good vaping.

Round 2:
Dremel tool with cutting blade marked "Metal". I put on my safety glasses, marked the carto and cut a nice slot into a Boge 3.0 carto.

I put it in the J-Tank, filled it with Snickerdoodle and let it sit for about an hour and a half. I also top filled 5 drops.

Result: a good vape

Lesson learned (which I'm sure quite a few already knew): Little punch holes = FAIL with thick juice.

I need to find a bigger punch screw for the CloudsOfVapor punch... or a different punch.
