Being a Washington resident (and oddly enough, I moved here from Phoenix years ago)... I completely
understand and support their reasoning for moving to Mesa AZ.

As over twenty years is more than enough time to put in as a Puget Sounder... I'm almost tempted to apply for a job with them and move back to AZ.

There is a legislator here in Michigan who is leading the effort to prevent state taxes on vaping products. I wrote to him and pointed out that States who are welcoming to this fast growing industry stand to see more business formation, taxes, and jobs than States who are not friendly. I'm sure a lot of people concerned about economic development on a State level get that. It's going to be a very big business. If I was in a different stage of life I'd want to be in the business.

Agree 100%. I think all WA vape businesses ought to move out of state while they still can.

Yes, this exactly -- in fact, maybe ALL Washington businesses should move, just to show WA legislators what idiots they are.

Good job, MtBaker! Good for you! But they should have come to GA; insane tax credits for new businesses in GA, and GA is very vape-friendly too.

What!?!?!? I'm having trouble understanding how a state that recently legalized the recreational sale a certain green plant is making a difficult environment for vaping products. Hey, but what do I know, I'm just a Canadian (from a province that is known for its "horticulture").

There's really no other way to make sense of this without invoking the ANTZ acronym. Thing is, I think ANTZ do detest the 'other stuff' but know they'd soon be out of work if they tried to go against the national tide on that issue. Also helps the other issue (in a perverse way) that it was / is illegal, as it had a good 50 years of underground politics and black market sales to teach a whole bunch of people that they were being lied to about the 'enormous dangers' that come from normal use. While I don't wish that upon vaping culture, it is a sign that if the zealots become overzealous, they will a) create an arguably larger market that will surely attract more youth and b) create a future generation that will fight to make it legal (again) with the idea that government / older people are prone to fear mongering and deception, which wouldn't bode well for that elder generation.

It seems to me that the states who have most egregiously handled their money are the ones enacting draconian regs about e-cigs and vaping -- so someone at the US Attorney's office needs to be looking very closely at those states, since there is VERY CLEARLY some criminal mishandling of funds going on.

Jman, I agree with most of your post, but I'm not 100% convinced that the ANTZ actually detest the 'other stuff'.... there is too much anti-nicotine ideology in play, I think. Certainly the original poster's comments were correct in that there is a double standard, especially with the Left and especially on the 'Left' Coast.

Here in California, I have personally witnessed, on multiple occasions, the open use of this 'other stuff' in areas where smoking is banned. One example: a subway station near Hollywood, where one gentleman decided to light up a 'funny cigarette' right in the station (I'm one of the few Angelinos that takes mass transit to work). In front of security cameras. In front of other passengers. During rush hour. Nobody said a word. Had I pulled out my e-cig and blew a cloud, I'm sure the outcome would have been quite different for me. At minimum, the fake "coughing and gagging" of other passengers, at worse, an officer with a citation book.

EDIT: Oh, I forgot to say... I fully support Mt Baker (and yes, I am an occasional customer of theirs). Relocation is a difficult decision, as it is expensive and disruptive. I think I need to pick up some juice from them, just to show my support.
