Good Sunday evening misfits :) I hope everyone had a nice weekend

Work is cramping my ECF style...my boss decided to call us into work an hour earlier the day after Daylight Savings, so I didn't sign on Saturday at all :(

You are more than welcome to come and enjoy the beach with me! :smokie:
Thanks! When do you travel to your own private island?
Mornin' peeps
No Murray sig??? :?:
Bingo! !!

It looks really well with the OLED color :)

Still happy with my green purchase though :) I have Hawk in a R91 on it
The green looks great too :thumb: I like the idea of a copper colored one, but I agree that it looks too much like a "low rider" aftermarket color instead of true copper (I don't have the Texas rivalry thing to worry about ).

I finally caught up on the Plus thread...so you won't post on that one anymore?? It's sad that 1) everyone left and that 2) no more chit-chat. I hope they don't ding us for chit-chat plus advice, because that's what I did tonight. If MBV would open a supplier forum, this would all be moot.... *sigh*

Machined aluminum and no idea on the finish, should be pretty durable...
I just Google Image-d the gunmetal...it looks more my speed, that blue-gray color is nice. All of my mods are stainless or black, so that would slot in nicely. I don't need a 3 though, a 2 would probably work just fine for me. Hmmm, I should think about checking out the classies

I had to choose between a mini in gunmetal or the full size in blue, tough call...
My hands aren't that big, so I'd probably opt for a mini...I've seen people buying the 26650 mods  They all want to go bigger, and I'd rather go smaller

Thanks for the info

Good night Uno, I'm signing off as well...

The blue is nice, think I was lookin' at the green originally from the choices available...

My 91 has banana cream pie :)

I'm partial to blues but the green does stand out. Either way you can't really lose. And Hi Uno.

Good night Uno, I'm signing off as well...

They are going to close the Plus thread at some point anyways if they keep with their policy on Mega Threads. The people that I talked to are in this thread or other places. I have no issues with multiple forums, I was a member of 2 when I joined ECF and am a member of 5 in total now. 2 of them are for specific purposes though so I only keep up with a few threads. I have run across some ideas for gear in other places that I would not have run across here :) Not saying anything negative about ECF, you have never and will not see me do that. It is a great place, I read the rules before I joined. Anyways that is all you will hear me speak of other places.

Gun Metal is on my list as well, if my friend here can come up with the money for this Semovar I will probably get one. I finally let me friend buy the Chi You I have. I wasn't using it and probably wasn't going to use what I was trying to get him to trade me for :p

Stone you would be surprised at how small the fullsize is, really about the same as an MVP2, slightly bigger but not noticeably.

My only qualm with the DNA30D is that it puts out a minimum of 4 volts, if you have delicate juices you need to build your atty for them.

Good Morning Misfits!
If the gunmetal color is similar to the Harley Davidson gunmetal blue, thats a pretty color. That was the color of our 2003 HD, key word "was" Going to be strange not having it to go for rides this summer.......
Oh, and i dislike the time change!
And its Monday, blah!

Good mornin' Cheryl :)

My 06 Ultra will be for sale here pretty quick, it's pretty much sat this past year other than the occasional ride. Use to ride it daily, rain or shine, the bike has seen some long rides, been to Sturgis, rode in Colorado, Arizona, New Mexico and almost all of Texas. Unfortunately it's got to the point of sharing the road with far too many idiots...

Mine is up for sale, I might get one more ride in, night not. I have not done more than start it up and go around the block since March of last year.

My "best friend ever" was a great guy. We knew each other from the age of 3 and had maintained a friendship for 45 years. He had never had an accident, was a great rider, careful, safe, always wore a helmet, rode daily. Father of 3 girls from ages 9 to 15. He was T-boned on his way to work by a guy drinking coffee, smoking a cigarette and talking on the cell phone. The guy ran a stop sign while traveling at 60 MPH in a 35 MPH zone. Happened March of last year. The guy said he never saw him... Needless to say my friend died instantly.

I can enjoy the Texas Hillcountry from my truck almost as well as on a bike. At least I have airbags around me in the truck.

I'm sorry for the loss of your best friend :( I can't "Like" this, but I do like this post... My sister rides a bike to work when the weather permits, which is way too often for my taste since she has great leathers. I try to urge her to drive the car at least half the time but she insists. I'm not worried about her driving, but I am worried about everyone else not paying attention while driving. She told me a story about a car that was tailgating her, and I asked her to stop telling me those stories :( While I think I take a similar risk walking to work in Manhattan, I still worry about some ...... running her over....
