I know I'm casting a wide net here. Turns out upon a storage check I am sorely missing mtl Rdl rta's. I really only have the doggy that I enjoy. I don't really like it too restrictive I prefer it to have a fairly restrictive direct lung option or at least a loose mtl. I don't want any of the berserkers. Neither do I want Ares.

Just wondering if there's anyone out there with something that fits the bill that they're not using that they wouldn't mind parting with.

For example the Brunhilde mtl looks completely perfect. Not looking for anything high-end. I know I'm late to the game and I understand that this might be a tall order but I just thought I should give it a try

I'm sending you a PM soon.

But I want to throw something out there in terms of the Brunhilde (of which I do not own and know very little about). But those steel wicking cables, are you going to be able to replace them if'n'when you need to? Someone told me that you can only get them from Vapefly or retailers that are selling them under the vapefly brand. When that goes out of production, you may be screwed. Maybe others can debunk or verify this.

I have a different atomizer that also takes them and I bought the vape fly ones which seem to fit in the other one just fine although they're a little bit off so I do have extra. Very good point though. On the other side of things I would imagine that any old school mesh wicking material could be finagled into doing the same thing maybe not as nicely certainly not as pretty but probably functional

The SS cables can be replaced. You can can find them at most vape shops. Fasttech has them:thumb:

Mesh straws (just roll a piece into a tube and cut to the proper length) work great. In fact, I think even better than cotton. I use them in every RDTA I own and it makes life so much easier. Stainless mesh is available (and will continue to be) at thousands of places.

I've heard the ropes are even better, but have not ever done a direct comparison. The concept in both is the same: capillary action is very consistent and very effective. I'm not sure the twisted wires in a rope would have any more surface area than all the holes in a piece of mesh. And I'd have to be convinced that the thickness of the cable has much effect - all the action is going to be done on the surface as I can't imagine that juice would travell all the way into the center of the thing.
