I personally have authentics but if your looking at clones I heard the ones at fasttech are best, not 3f vapes.

I would rather not buy a clone, between poor quality and materials I'd rather spend $99 on the real thing and not have to worry about anything.

MTL tanks have experienced a bit of a resurgence in the past couple months...

There's the already mentioned Siren.

Then, not mentioned, is the Cthulhu MTL, the Smok Spirals (technically a subohm tank that comes with an RBA, and is tight enough to work), the Augvape Merlin (comes with airflow reducers), and a couple others...

Of course, the KF line, and the Taifun are still here, too...

I agree. ...if you do decide on that, a smaller mod would look best, I would definitely go with a mini 18650 mod . Alot of mods may look kind of small, but arent, so pay attention to their dimensions . All my tanks are small , even my 22mm tanks are in nano mode , so all my mods are mini's as well. My mods are in the 76x36x25 range and are of the perfect size for smaller tanks. Although i don't have one, I'm looking into the vct 75 nano .

I just slap a 1.8 ohm coil in an A7 & drip away.
A7 Rebuildable Atomizer
Avid is kinda pricey, ($20) but at least they have them.
Old school....20 seems reasonable to me (only the price of 2 packs if cigs)but I never priced them before.

KF5 is one of my faves...with the reducer kit.. KF3 is good as well, just small.. the kf4 is not even sold by SM, and if you happen to find a clone 4 there are really no parts left to replace it. Nautilus mini still is good.
Check out this thread... very helpful people on it.

I used to chase clouds, I was strictly lung inhales and then it didn't work for my cravings anymore. I tried mouth to lung and it felt so natural almost like smoking a cigarette again. I currently switch between a chalice III and cyclone rba on my reo grands (squonk mod and Bottom fed rbas)

I like your style, I too have been researching the vct 75 nano...not 100% sold on it yet but mainly just because there are so many dna 75 mods and I havn't watched reviews on all of them yet..but it is certainly one I'm considering.....as far as the top I think I'm sold on the kf mini v3...thanks for your input.

Kayfun Mini 3 here! Best of everything I've tried to date. I don't mind the 2ml limit because to me the smaller tanks seem to taste better, plus I like to change juice often.

I've done a lot of reading online the past few days that suggest the same, that the kf mini v3 is pretty hard to beat...and I love the fact that they seem to perform just as well with thicker juices...one of the key factors that led to me doing away with mtl was the fact that most juices where too thick for my old tanks

Wow I remember the A7, was one of the first drippers I purchased but never really used as an adv...was mainly for testing juices at vape shops...I did really enjoy dripping but just not practical for my purposes because I spend a lot of time driving for work and when not in a company vehicle my ecig is almost always in my pocket...so I try to avoid things that could potentially leak.....I think it's awesome that you found something that works and didn't get stuck in the game of buying the next big thing every month....I couldn't even tell you how many times I went through buyers remorse after leaving a vape shop lol

I also feel like direct lung is no longer satisfying to me and feel like something closer to a cigarette draw would suit me better....I wish I never fell for all the "bigger, badder, more watts, more cloud" noise when the vaping scene decided to change directions in what seemed like overnight lol.

My wife and I have been vaping for 7 years. I moved to sub-ohm but my wife stuck with MTL. The Innokin T18 is truly awesome for MTL and I'm interested in their new T20. Just this week though, I bought my wife the Vaporesso Drizzle and it's also really really nice and so freakin small.

wow @ 7 years...my wife and I are going on 4 years...i did try a few years before but the only thing I tried was one of the cigalikes with the replaceable filters that had the nicotine in it and charged via usb on the computer....never really got any satisfaction from it though....here's to more years of being smoke free!! :)

So i got caught up in the whole watt wars thing back in 2015 and switched to sub ohm vaping...and to be honest I have no idea what sort of health risks I'm creating by vaping high wattages all day (not to mention I spend $100 every 2 weeks on juice!!)

I've decided to make the switch back to mtl vaping...the last time I was vaping this way was with a kayfun lite..I'm curious whats out there now if anything for mtl vaping and what is recommended...I'm also interested in a new mod as well (looking at dna 75's mostly)..would like to stay under $250 for mod and top.

Any and all recommendations are appreciated as well as maybe any comments from others who have switched back to mtl from direct lung vaping.

You will want the Kayfun 5.. I have one, love the airflow and juice flow.. I am somewhere in between mtl and dl, I vape lower wattage but need a bit more airflow than the kayfun lite provides.. and for me, the kayfun 4 is perfect, and the kayfun 5 as well as I'm getting better flavor out of the 5, although some of the features of the 5 to me are more of a pita to get used to.

But it's a good device, and the juice flow control and large juice wells means you can take it above 20 watts without fear of wicking problems.. there is a bit of getting used to with it, but it would do you well, it's airflow is adjustable so you can set it how you like.

As far as best new device, probably something with the dna 75c chip.. try this one here: VapeDroid C1D2 DNA75

Or this one if the extra money is an object: Original HCigar VT75 TC Box Mod-48.87 Online Shopping| GearBest.com

The A7 is very pocket friendly, there is no side hole & the top threads on. So as long as you don't over fill it, it can't leak. An A7 holds 7 drops, which gives you about ~20 puffs

The only negative maybe about the km3 is the AF adjustment. It has a screw adjustment that is kind of hidden under the 510 base and maybe isn't as precise as a more traditional afc ring types. Personally, it's perfect for me because I'm the set it & forget type, but if your the constantly tinkering and changing AF guy, it could be a con. I agree on the vct mini, mixed reviews . Another post here mentioned the vape droid, that is another one I have been looking at.
