Has anyone ever gotten multiple tracking numbers from Happy Vaper? I placed an order with them wednesday night and opted for Interac email money transfer. I called Jack Thurs morn to give him the answer to the secret question and all was fine. That evening I got an email from HV with the tracking number for my item and I checked out the status on the Canada Post site. Turns out the item was
"accepted at the post office" before I had given Jack the answer to the secret question... On top of that the reference number on the Canada post website was 5260 not 5259 like my order. Then I received another email from canada post yesterday with a totally different tracking number but this time the proper reference number (5259) saying the item had just been accepted at the post office on Friday...

SO basically I have two seperate tracking numbers relating to two seperate orders placed at HV being posted on consecutive days with consecutive delivery dates of Monday and Tuesday. I am most thouroughly confused. I hope for someone else's sake that I am not being sent their order in addition to mine (whoever placed order 5260)

Any thoughts?

Hi Tim.

Everything should be OK with your order - whatever you ordered has definitely been sent out, that much is clear. Jack & his family have unfortunately been under the weather quite a bit these last couple of weeks, which is no fun...also he tells me that things have been pretty busy lately too. But even so, you should get a reply from him soon. Jack is one of the friendliest & most helpful guys around. Whatever the situation, he will work to make it right, with a smile.

It's possible that he sent out the first order & forgot to include something in it (can happen to the best of us)...and so shortly thereafter sent out a second package with the remaining stuff. At any rate...you'll soon know, his shipping is fast. Let us know, and happy vaping!

You're making a positive choice for yourself & should be proud of that. Once you have your PV & some good juices (and/or DIY supplies), and get the hang of it (it's very similar but a bit different from smoking, doesn't take long to catch on to all the little tricks) you'll see how awesome vaping is.

Down the line you might want to spring for an automatic Happy 510 too - only two hours battery life compared to the eGo's eight...but remarkable in every other respect. Weight, shape, look, feel, even the LED...very much like a 'real' cigarette. Happy Vaper's automatic 510's definitely made quitting smoking & starting vaping as easy as pie for me. Though you made a great choice by going with the eGo too - I'm planning on getting one myself in about a week's time.

P.S. Good on you for going with the cartomizers!

They make vaping much simpler, and better in my opinion - each one has a brand-new atomizer built in. The 510 ones Jack carries are made by Boge, and they're superb. Granted...once in a while there's a dud, or one that's overstuffed or doesn't have a clear line of sight for the hole down the middle...it's inevitable given the way they manafacture them en masse. But usually they're fine. If you get a dud or fussy one in your 5 pack, please don't be discouraged. Most of them are really excellent, and I've bought about 50 of them from Jack over the last 4 months. I recommend & buy them from him regularly.

Anyway, rambling now. Wouldn't worry about the tracking numbers. Talk soon!

I am not worried that he has messed up my order, from all I have read about him my supplies are in good hands. I was just worried that I might get something extra in the mail that was supposed to be sent to someone else. hopefully not someone waiting on an essential piece of equipment and counting the seconds 'till it arrives. I'm sure it will be fine I've just got nothing else to do until this inconvenient weekend is over (why doesnt mail move on the weekend!) and I'm going a little nic withdrawal crazy.

And as for the cartomizers I ordered the Royal Smokers E2 XL fillerless cartos, heard some good things about them.

If I get your stuff on Monday I'll PM you and we'll work out a way to get you your stuff. I'm hoping it's just a mixup of emails. Did you get the email with your tracking number? As of right now it's supposedly being processed in Missasauga so no idea which direction its heading. Best of luck but don't worry you'll get it one way or another.

I haven't tried those ceramic cartomizers yet Tim (the XL, Edition 2, Revision 4 ones). But from what I understand, a lot of people aren't liking them. I mean they sound like they're a great idea - but over & over I hear people saying that these produce a "burnt plastic taste" and won't wick properly. Which makes me wonder why the creators didn't hear the same sort of feedback & revise the cartomizer further before producing them.

But some people really like them though. In fact I've seen some glowing reviews. It occurs to me that some of the displeased folks might not be using these cartomizers properly (???) which is why I'm still going to give them a try, just to make sure for myself. Opinion is divided. For example, on Youtube...GrimmGreen really didn't like them, but step07726 (a.k.a. Smokie) really loved them. Two big-time names in the vaping world...two very different reviews. You can see their reviews here:

GrimmGreen: YouTube - DIGITALCIGGZ.COM E2 CARTO + CINNA-ROLLZ JUICE
Smokie: YouTube - 510 E2 Cartomizer REVIEW from Cloudsofvapor.com

So yeah - if it turns out you like the ceramic cartos, great. I really hope that will be the case. But - if you don't like them, please don't be discouraged: hold on long enough to get some of the Boge 510 cartomizers from Jack, because they will definitely perform great & not taste like anything except your e-juice. They have a cotton filling - keep it wet, and vape happy. I've been vaping with them from day one for 4 months now and have never had a problem.

Where the ceramics are still an unknown, the Boges are a safe bet. (If you get the Boges you'll want the blunt tip luer lock syringes too - great for easy carto filling; a 4-pak from Jack is only $1.99).

I almost didn't post this because I don't want to rain on the ceramic cartomizer's parade, especially seeing how I haven't tried them yet. Whether or not they work well yet, the idea is innovative & has promise. Innovation should be applauded. But I just wanted to make sure you understood the score & were aware of the more tried-&-true alternative, so that you wouldn't be discouraged by any shortcomings that the ceramics might have.

Hope your eGo & assorted goodies arrive soon!

Hey guys!

Sorry for not responding sooner!

Wood and Tim, please do not be concerned! Sorry for the confusion! It seems we did set wood's Canada Post email notifications to Tim's email address! The packages ARE heading for the correct destinations, though.

Thanks to Born, Hawt and Rachel for the votes of confidence that we would be on top of this (love you guys)! We most definitely are on top of it and I do apologize for the anxiety guys! Hope you love your new gear!

With respect to the CE2 cartos, it's true that the reviews are mixed but for those that are willing to do a bit of work (rinse, blow out and dry burn a few times before the first use), with 2.8ohm on a 3.2-3.7V device, most seem to be VERY pleased! Can't wait to hear your reviews!

Feel free to email or call us any time!

They do know and read the feedback from the forums, hence why we are on rev 4. Their QA/QC needs improvement as well. Wrt Somkies review, I haven't seen a negative one yet.

Jack in all honesty from knowing you and knowing you only carry quality products, do you honestly believe a vaper should go through all this hooplah, or should they be ready to go straight from the box?

IMO Royal Smoker has a way to go still. I was fortunate someone sent me some to try out, I returned the unused ones. The XL V3 I got tasted like kerosene, that is not good and I doubt that any amount of washing etc would have helped me past that. The real question that needs to be asked here is - Why did it taste like kerosene in the first place?

Hey Switched!

We did struggle quite a bit with the idea of carrying these cartomizers but, in the end, the demand for these cartomizers in Canada is pretty high and many people do want to use them. Some are modding these cartos and making "tankomizers" out of them and some are quite Happy doing some work in advance to have a large reservoir that performs very well for a large portion of the day.

Do I have preferences? I do and when my customers ask what works for ME, I give them my honest feedback.

Personally, I am not a real fan of any cartomizers, though some of my friends and customers use them primarily. I do not like to do maintenance (I rarely even blow out my atomizers anymore), so I have created a vaping arsenal that works for me. Vapers vary quite a bit as to the equipment and rituals that work for them. We try to carry products to help as many of them as possible and the best quality and variety that we can.

Hope that makes sense.
