The face cramps were more like around the jaw, along the neck, and behind the base of my skull. I have to admit I was under a lot of stress at the time, was about to pack up my life and move across the country, so I am sure there was some stress involved, but yes, it was magnified by the PG. It stopped as soon as I quit trying to use it, and even the little bit in the flavorings messed with me. I tried mixing flavor into my VG and got a bad reaction too. VG alone and some of the VG flavors I have purchased that claim to be PG free have not bothered me, mostly just get a bit of a thicker mucus feeling in my sinuses throat with the VG.
