I've been revisiting some old `90s psychobilly/retro-surf music for the past couple of weeks in my car. In doing so, I've been pulling out CDs which, in most cases, haven't seen the light of day in ten years or more. I've also succeeded in reminding myself just how great some of these songs were!

I know this isn't exactly music for everybody's taste, but maybe you'll find something you like in these selections anyway.

Check `em out and enjoy..... or something. :D

Reverend Horton Heat - Mari(censored)

Reverend Horton Heat - Psychobilly Freakout

Man or Astro-man? - Sferic Waves

The Fuzztones - The Witch

The Bomboras - Run and Hide

The Cramps - Goo Goo Muck

In college, when I wasn't in class, I spent pretty much all my time hanging around and working at the school's radio station.

One day in 1985, while doing an "All New Music" mid-morning show, I was sort of randomly playing cuts from a stack of newly-arrived vinyl. As usual, there were a number of 12-inch singles in the pile. Two of them caught my eye, and when I played them, it was my first exposure to industrial music... And I've been a fan ever since. These are the songs that started me off:

Wiseblood - Stumbo

Einsturzende Neubauten - Yü-Gung (Fütter mein Ego)

Hey Guys, Music has always been a very important aspect and influence in life. It moves you, it makes you feel, it enlightens you, it creates whirlwinds of all types of different emotions, it reflects upon your true inner self as it expresses who you are, as it also inspires you.
I always try to make a music thread where I go for people to share who they are and what are they feeling at that moment in time or what separates them from the real world into a beautiful Nirvana.
So c'mon guys lets see it and introduce yourselves for what you are on the inside or what moves and drives you!

Just head on over to YouTube - Broadcast Yourself. find your bliss. Highlight the link from your address bar and paste it here.

YouTube - ‪Rise Against- The Dirt Whispered lyrics‬‏

I absolutely agree Isaac! Unless, you like stuff that talks about money, cars, clothes, hoes, and blow. Which isn't music it's a mental dissonance. And you're an idiot in denial if you think any sort of beat behind those types of 'lyrics' is music. But that's something completely different.

I give you thumbs up with your choice of music Isaac tis good! I'm not huge on Rise Against but they are certainly better than a lot of bands :] cheers to smart taste! Have a good day man hope you're having/had fun at vapestock.

I'm glad you're not the ultimate arbiter determining what is music and what isn't.

And, I think I'll just leave it at that.
