Hey DIYers! I know I have my favorites that are must haves in my arsenal, but Im wondering what are your favorite ingredients to keep on hand? Additives, base flavors, anything good and versatile for all of your favorite recipes!!!

Some of my faves are:
Sweet Cream (TFA, currently waiting on an order so I am out for now)
Ethyl Maltol (TFA, absolute cannot run out of this, a few drops in any fruit flavor makes it shine!)
Butterscotch (TFA, I use it more as an additive)
Cinnamon Danish Swirl (CAP, just tried it for the first time a while ago and it is delicious! Been mixing it with fruits and creams to make various different danishes)

My Top 10: Always big bottles, always on hand...

Vanilla Custard V1 (CAP)
Custard (INW)
Cinnamon Danish Swirl (CAP)
Sugar Cookie (CAP)
NY Cheesecake (CAP)
Vanilla Shisha (INW)
Butter Pecan (FW)
Pralines & Cream (FW)
Coconut Candy (TFA)
Sweetener (Sucralose) (TFA)

I can make 80% of everything I vape out of these... :D

Well, I'm still new to DIY. Of all the flavors I have to have of pre-made liquid, I only have a couple concentrates and they're still steeping. But I definitely have to have some custard, banana, cream and cereal flavors on hand. Also some butterscotch and Caramel.

I'm a man, and I can change, if I have to, I guess.

Ive also always got a large number of fruit flavors on hand, some duplicates as I like the same flavor from different companies for different reasons! Got some great ideas from seeing your list @dobroeutro (That and seeing your contributions to the what are you vaping right now thread lol)

I use mostly TFA flavorings, about 6-7 CAP, and 1-2 from FA, FW, etc.. I also love the OSDIY "One Stop Flavors" and "One Stop Blends".

The ones below...I find myself using the most, in a variety of recipes. Those with the * are ones I don't think I would "give up" if I had a limit on how many I could buy.

From TFA:
*Vanilla Bean Ice Cream
*Vanilla Custard
*French Vanilla Creme
Lemon
*Strawberry Ripe
Strawberry
Banana
*DX Banana Cream
*DX Coconut
*Peach
DX Juicy Peach
*Vanilla Swirl (TFA says this is the same formula as their Vanilla Custard, but without acetoin and/or acetyl prop.)
*DX Sweet Cream
DX Bavarian Cream
*Whipped Cream
*Sweetener
*Cotton Candy

From CAP:
Blueberry Jam
*Sweet Strawberry
Simply Vanilla
*Vanilla Custard v2
Vanilla Bean Ice Cream

From OSDIY:
*Lotta Latte
*Lucky Shot
*Baked Cinnamon Roll
*Pink Lemonade
*Blue Raspberry Slush

Me too, but they're usually mixed with my Top 10 in some fashion. Vaping a Black Raspberry Custard now... :D

These are my must have flavors I never let myself run out of:

TFA/TPA:
Bavarian Cream
Black Currant
Cheesecake (Graham Crust)
Coconut Extra
Jackfruit
Marshmallow
Papaya
Peanut Butter
Strawberry (Ripe)
Vanilla Bean Ice Cream

LorAnn
Banana Cream
Butter Rum

FlavourArt
Forest Mix (aka Forest Fruit)

Inawera
Biscuit
Mango

FF Pro
Bourbon Vanilla
Grand Marnier

Capella
Golden Pineapple
Sugar Cookie
Sweet Cream
Sweet Strawberry
Toasted Almond
Vanilla Cupcake
Vanilla Custard v.1
Vanilla Whipped Cream

** Yikes! This list is longer than I thought it was going to be!!

I've been thinking along the lines of going towards more concentrated flavors but if I can't find suitable replacements for my TFA's and Cap's, that won't ever be happening. A large part of my problem is the limited selection here in Canada. :(

I'll Add my Favorites, of course a good scale that reads to .00 first off, for flavors here is a few use the Most.
TFA
Marshmallow
Bavarian Cream
Sweet Cream
Vanilla Swirl
Strawberry Ripe
Cheesecake Graham Crust
Dragon Fruit
Cotton Candy (EM)

INW
Cactus
Biscuit
Mix Mint
Pineapple
Tobacco's (a few)

Cap
Vanilla Custard V1
Sugar Cookie V1
Vanilla Bean Ice Cream
Vanilla Whip Cream
Cinnamon Danish Swirl
Sweet Strawberry

FW
Hazelnut

FA
Fresh Cream
Meringue
Vienna Cream
Catalan Cream
Cookie
Lemon Sicily
Fuji Apple

Flavorah
Rich Cinnamon
Peanut Butter
Lime
Red Burly

and a few from LA, Watermelon clear,Banana Cream, and Cream Cheese Icing, others from HS for Tobaccos, So quite a few, but those are the most used out of a 400+ list and growing. If you think shinyitis only extends to hardware wait untill the mixing bug gets ya'. I bought a big pack of syringes at American supply and surplus and a bunch of blunt tip needles from fasttech, for the larger non dripper bottles I just use one Syringe and the scotch tape it to the bottle. couple liters of nic. in the freezer, and PG/VG Essential Depot. Bullet Bottles from Nicotine River that have a larger opening and twist caps to easily pour in the VG after all the flavor, Nic and Pg are added. When the recipe is really good I'll make 16-32oz Bottles up without Nicotine, and just add it to the bullets pour and shake. One thing I learned is just make sure you are Paying full attention if you decide to make a large amount, Because if you make a mistake and use the wrong amounts or worse wrong flavor, it now is even a bigger mistake. I don't use heat for anything. I just make sure I have plenty of base steeped.

the only 'must have' that i keep big bottles of is TFA koolada, i can vape happily with just using that with vg nic.

i quit making juice for family & friends and simplified my DIYing down last year. i ridded of almost 200 flavorings and basically mostly only use and try to keep the following on hand now;
FA Caramel
FA Vienna Cream
FA Catalan Cream
FA Custard
TFA Acetyl Pyrazine
TFA Bavarian Cream
TFA Vanilla Bean Ice Cream
TFA Brown Sugar
TFA Koolada
Molin Berry Wild Strawberry
Molin Berry Milkshake
MVB bought USA Menthol Blend (for now, got discontinued)
ECJ & VZ Super Concentrate French Pipe (VZ only soon, more concentrated)

got 4oz's of FW cheesecake in a trade recently and mix i made with some of it seems to be coming along well so that may become a regular to add with other flavorings too.

Of course, my wallet is about $90 lighter, but nothing ventured - nothing gained !

Thanks for the shout out @PapawBrett glad it helped you out! I know I got a lot of great ideas from it. My next order is gonna be a killer!
