Mr. “Hope this helps.”
Come in here to chime in and show you think imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, thanks Dan. :)
Or do we get to speculate about you now and you had input on this the way we do about the influence Billy had on the engineering of the Stardust? Come on, you can talk now Dan, it’s been “reveled” you (AND Billy) should be free of your NDA with the Chinese and GV.
All kidding aside, all of us who know see the influence you have had on this industry and yes Dan it does help.
Thanks
:toast:

The problem is the orings you use and polycarbonate. Keeping the holes (juice) close to the coil will minimize dry hits, but you will still have to tilt it.
Hope this helps.
Dan

First I was pointed here by several members, second when I see a design flaw, or someone asks a Q no one answers I will "Chime" in. I am all about the better vaping experiance. As for my input into this design I have not been asked, so I have none save what I see and commented on. NDA?? how did you find out LOL. Nope no back alley deals here, I have given my plans away more times than I can count. It is nice to see a mod similar to mine making it to the commercial side of the tracks. And the way it is designed looks like it can only be used with silica wicks, dont get me wrong a little NR silver wire to make the jump and it could be used as a genisis single wick. It would be prudent to go to a dual tube over a single for the reasons I suggested, but that would mean two additional orings, unless they went with a screw on top cap. That would make the coil maint easier and it would help hold the poly tube inplace. My 2 cents :)

nice to see you here, once samples arrive ill be sure to send you some. any input as well is humbly appreciated.

Thanks, just worried about barging in and suggesting changes :)
I do like the telescope mod, if the bottom piece is entirly threaded then it should accept anything from a 10440 - a 18650 barring any centering issues when screwed together. Very cool.

Well, it is cute. Something I don't get though: does it lock up or something so that you can put it vertical, or does it only live a horizontal life?

I don't see a locking mechanism like most other bottom-button manual mods have, but maybe it twists to lock? I imagine that it would have to have something or it wouldn't be very pocket friendly.

re: Telescope...takes any of 16340 , 18350, 18500 or 18650 batteries....Insert the battery and the unit telescopes or collapses down (or adjusts up) to whatever battery you are using, no extension needed to screw in or unscrew. Completely mechanical button at base with locking feature so as not to accidentally fire or to allow you to set it vertically on your desk...

By the way these products won't go ALPHA, they will probably go up as regular products...

What is it??

Not sure on the 10440 but see my post above...I imagine the 10440 might just have the centering issue you speak of...speaking of the 10440, Joyetech is making a new battery that uses a 360mah 10440, they are callign eCab but they are marrying it to an ego-c style atomizer which we don't entirely promote here at GotVapes although we do sell ego-c kits. If anyone thinks you might be interested in this, let us know, and we'll get some:

Dan,

I've used these. They work pretty well. Not sure what kind of connector it uses though. It is kind of like a GoGo connection.

They would make decent starter kits. Is Joyetech regulating price?
