Maybe or maybe you just woke up at 10:17 and after using the john you stumbled to the computer - that would definitely be fast thinking on a foggy mind which is even more impressive. Turtles are very modest and humble...

It took me almost 7 hours to think of that answer, Danno. :?:

(That is pretty quick for a slow Turt.)

so you dont know when you're expecting it?

You just have to learn patience on these types of things... They may have a good idea but many things must be taken into account...

Example... The new rebuildable Stardusts which were announced by Vision sometime last month ( or there abouts )... They had the design done which was taken from or inspired by the Vivi Nova but were in final testing still, then after the testing was completed they had to be manufacturered... Shipping from overseas can take anywhere from a week to 3 weeks, customs then has to inspect and release them before they finally get shipped on the final leg of the journey to the vendor.

Now that was just one example... in some cases a vendor will hold off announcing a new product until they are about to be received in... GV's seems to usually give us about a week to two weeks notice when possible so we can budget them in but on the more exciting products they have also told us about them ealier.

I do like getting an earlier notice of a product... but I admit sometimes I get impatient for them to arrive also.

got nothing to do with being impatient....i saw a product i am interested in advertised so asked the vendor when they were expecting it.

i dont need to know the politics involved a simple no would of sufficed. presumably vendor knows when the manufacturer is sending , approx courier times and i wouldnt have thought customs would hold onto it as taxes would already be declared.

Logistics has nothing to do with politics... The logistics involved introduce too many variables and vendors are well aware of that fact... which is why until they are certain, they will avoid answering the question of when. The work that customs does certainly includes checking that the contents are as they were declared for tax purposes... but it extends much further since they must also help ensure nothing else is being smuggled in which all can really delay a valid shipment.

I'm sorry you weren't interested in knowing why... but it affects the actual answer to your question even if you have no interest in it. They will tell us when as soon as it's possible... until then just monitor the thread ( or not if you wish ) to find out as soon as they can tell us. Until that time... I can only say why a shipment may take a certain amount of time, even if it isn't what you wanted to hear, others may be interested.

just like he told you, thats when things arrive, we announce them tease you all with upcoming products and show you all things that normal people dont get to see unless they are involved in vaping and then we wait for them to be produced and shipped, sometimes we annoucne things that are arriving in days and sometimes things that are arriving in weeks.

then they ship and then we play the waiting game, customs is the last stop and they can hold anyitng form 1 day up to 2weeks and no the taxes arent paid, we have to pay the taxes and tarrif on every package before its released, we dont order small boxes so are packages get inspected and charged.

king on that particular product it looks like realistically a few weeks...it is on order. Much of the time in China they don't produce until they receive orders so it may take a week or so to produce our order then packaging, shipping , etc, maybe another week or two after...I'm hoping maybe the middle of July as most optimistic outlook...
