RDA Mutation X single coil dual?

Entirely too much time my hands today, I got to thinking:

I've heard many people say that for flavor, you should run the Mutation X in single coil mode. And I have to agree to some extent...Thinking back, I think I've gotten the most flavor out of a single 24 ga coil build. Can't really explain why other than, less airflow allowing for a more concentrated flavor. Makes sense.

So I got to thinking......I wonder if anyone has ever tried dual coils, but in single coil mode. Of course, the coils would have to be constructed on the same side of deck, but I wonder what the vape would be like. I would think crazy flavor...

Surely someone in this wonderful, vast community has tried it? Not necessarily on the Mutation. X, but a similar atty with single coil/airflow capabilities.

I have a single parallel coil in my Mutation X which is essentially a dual coil in single coil form. I used 30 gauge twisted kanthal, 8 wraps/2.4mm diameter, came out to 0.6 ohm. Definitely the best flavor/performance I've gotten from my Mutation X.
Not sure how well a build would work with two coils on one side, wicking it would probably be a pain. IMO the parallel coil would be a better option, same basic concept you're talking about but more efficient.
