Muted flavour on kayfun v4

Hi,

I own 6 kayfun Lite Plus which I love for their taste and design. Now recently I ordererd an (authentic) Kayfun v4. I used the same coil and wick method (microcoil, cotton) as I would use in my Lite Plus. I was astonished to find that the flavour was/is very muted. I tried bigger and smaller coils in diameter, more or less cotton, coil close to the air hole, coil far away from the air hole. I couldn't bring out the flavour as good as in my Lite Plus or Squape Reloaded.

On the forums and Youtube everyone seems to be very excited about the Kayfun v4. Is there something about wicking a Kayfun 4 that I don't know?

Ps: New to the forums, but not new to ecigs, been vaping for about 2 1/2 years now.

I've got 7 Kayfun Lites and two v4s. I found the v4 can handle a bit more power than the Lites do, for some reason. The same build, same juice, can usually run about 2 or 3 watts higher with no burning.

I've had the opposite experience. I think the k4 has more flavor than the Lite.

I agree, you might try bumping your power.

I admit, I think there are better flavor tanks than the Kayfuns, but if you like the Lite, you should like the k4.

The only thing I can think of is making sure you have your airflow adjusted. If you have it too open or closed it might be causing the flavor mute.
