Mike,
Now that you have had a few hours to rock that bad AYuss grand, Let's hear your rundown on the whole deal.

You've been vaping for a long time and runnin bottomfeeders nearly as long as well as some tubes sprinkled in for good measure. Your detailed opinion may be of great value to some :)

Glad you finally got a grand bro :) Rock on :)

Russ, I am rockin' that bad AYuss grand right now.... I spent about 20 minutes cleaning it up, changing out the tube, applied the Mundy 10 amp fuse mod, filled it up, slapped the Cyclone on it and BAM!!! Rockin' that bad boy all day... I just changed the battery in it, (been going since about 11am today), might have ran it down a little low for the first run in it. It feels much better in hand than the mini did. This is what I should've went with in the beginning. Its not as glossy as I first thought it would be and the silver hammertone door is rockin' as well. It is a little on the slippery side though. I will more than likely strip it like dholmes did on his. I think the raw will feel better in hand than this... Don't know for sure, but will probably happen sometime in the next few days or by the weekend. I will post before and after pics when and if it happens...

Doh. Fixed that. My bad Mike. Not enough coffee yesterday :)

I'm very happy you are rocking so solid :) yes the fuse mod is a great way to go. Nice work. Cyclones are great great little attys. I enjoy mine very much too.

You moved in right when the fat lady was in getting some lipo on her arm fat and she never got a chance to throw down for you. She's as thrilled that your here as I am.

She actually stopped by your crib last night with a Pizza but was too shy to knock so she just sat outside your door and mowed it.

She's not shy on stage though and here she is laying down a raw cover of Ugly Kid Joe's "neighbor" just for you :)

The pic was snapped just as she was saying "I try all night and day to get a piece of the action"

Congrats neighbor :)

Both vids were awesome... I always felt Klaus and Roger were two guitarists that just never received much love in the community... Both of those guys could shred some serious AYuss!!! I saw them in Reseda and also at the Whiskey in '92 during the big blowup back in the day. That was back in the day when I was on the strip 6-7 nights a week... Ah, the good ole days. Rockin' the Rainbow almost every night.... Hollyweird!!! What a place!!!

Mike, yeah, I liked the hell out of UKJ back in the day. I haven't heard much of them since then but I thought you would appreciate neighbor. Looks like I was right :)

Their live shows looked nice n rowdy too :)

Speakin of rowdy, the town chicken head got all nostalgic when you started talking about the riots so she jumped up stage and did vocals while the still living members of sublime played April 29,1992 for you. Here she is right at the "You was sittin' home watch in' your TV, while I was participatin' in some anarchy" part:

I did the male 5-0 dispatch segments and some other hot REOnaut chica did the female ones :)

Ok, so I got bored this afternoon and decided to go to Ace and pick up some goodies to do the deed... Took pretty much about 4hrs and had to apply 3 coats of stripper, a scotch brite pad, some steel wool, a bunch of elbow grease, and I think I have a working product. I willl add that unlike dholmes black wrinkle grand, the powder coat ones are not tumbled prior to powder coating so mine came out with a brushed type of finish instead of tumbled... I am diggin' it though...

So I did a little more work to the finish of my grand and am really diggin' it with the brushed look it has now!! It is much better than when I originally stripped the powder coat off. It was just too shiny. The only thing I am in need of is the aluminum button cover. I am also sporting the new cloud chaser drip tip from my bro sXd... I had to mod it a little for my liking, but its kinda growing on me now...

Yeah, it feels way better. I took off 1/4" originally and then sanded, deburred, and polished it to make it straighter and look more even. The only thing I would change on it would be to take out that middle bulge. I may have to try and sand out most of that. I was looking around and found another wide bore tip I am going to order to try out. Check it out... Ultra Wide Bore 15mm Black Delrin Drip tip - Avid Vaper I will probably have to cut the length off about 1/4" on it also, but at least it's straight. It has a little narrower bore to it also, but I think it will be ok though... I'm gonna order a couple just to check them out though.

edit; forgot to mention the biggest difference I have found between the cloud chaser and our usual tip is when I vaped on the old tip it seemed sometimes the vapor was really hot and I would feel it on my lips. The cloud chaser doesn't give me that effect as yet. It is relatively a cooler vape overall.
