MVP 2.0 question

im thinking about buying a mvp 2.0. and also to start getting into rbas. im grabbing a plume vale clone.will i also need a ohm and voltage checker or can i just use my ohm reader on the mvp? is it safe or could i break my device? also what is the safest ohms i should use on this device when rebuilding. thanks

The built-in ohm reader on the MVP2 is fine.....Just keep your coil builds ABOVE ~1.0-1.2 ohms....
For ME.....I find running coils between 1.5 and 1.8 ohms a good "middle ground" for playing with variable voltage; I can "dial in" a "sweet spot" for a particular juice with minimum fuss.....
FWIW....the MVP2 is "not designed" to fire BELOW ONE (1) OHM......However, many users have found it WILL fire down to ~.8 ohm...
How SAFELY....????!!! I've never tried, and don't care to......!!
Good luck! Within its parameters, the MVP2 is tough to beat for features/functionality vs price.....
BTW....I own TWO, and rotate them (one charging/one in use) as necessary..
Of course, that's when I'm NOT using my Reos......!!
