So i got a pack of atomizers with a resistance of 2.5 ohms.. I stuck one in my PT2 and it wont fire on my MVP 2.0... i put it on my vamo v5 and check the ohms it reads 2.7.. is there a resistance that an MVP will not vape at??
You shouldn't have any problems..It your battery charged all the way or is your atty in all the way? If anything the firing pin may be pushed down a little bit, pull it up a midge. Press down the two buttons P and U to see what it says. Maybe change the voltage/resistance and see if that makes a difference.
I agree, there's probably something physical going on with the connections, is the coil twisted tight onto the base of the tank? Is the tank itself not tight enough on the MvP? I found myself barely twisting on my tanks onto my egos but finding that with the mvp I have to make sure the tank tighter onto the battery. To test if you're getting a good connection press the two buttons to see if it reads the resistance.. If it says NON then the tank is not making a connection to the battery. I hope this helps somehow.
The MVP-1 had issues with the connector pin not making connections with some 510 connectors. Mine wouldn't connect with my Ikevape cartomizers in my cartotanks.
I could have pulled the center pin on the MVP, but it works fine with iClear 30 and Protanks which is what I use exclusively on the MVP.
