Got both of those in the same day? That's an exciting day for vape mail =] If your clone is an ehpro, obviously looks like it is, you'll be fine. If you scored it for $40 bucks, I misunderstood the price that the ehpro's go for. Those are the better clones for sure. Glad your liking the cotton, I've never really cared for it, but then again, I've never boiled my cotton. If I ever go back to cotton on the Russian 91, I'll have to start boiling it. Mesh works fantastic for me though. How do you like the form factor of the kayfun on the MVP2? I always felt like it would feel a little top heavy myself, but if it works for you, more power to ya

The top heaviness doesn't bother me at all. I never stand it upright on an surface anyways so I don't mind it's large size on the MVP. I actually think it looks cool with my brushed steel MVP. It matches really nicely! :) People who doesn't know the Real Deal, like we do, stare in awe of it's excellence! :)

There is something seriously wrong with my MVP 2.0. I think the o-ring that sits under the firing pin of the MVP is coming out. I thought I had a piece of cotton stuck in there or something and I pulled some of it out and then I realized it was like rubber or something. I think it happened from me pulling the pin up becuase it wasn't firing my iClear30. The pink is not sitting center of the 510 connector. The only tank that is working on it is my Protank II, but my Protank taste all burnt and crappy and I'm firing at low volts and wattages. I even replaced the coil in my protank II to see if that would remedy the problem. I have an iClear30 that the MVP came with and it's getting a .4ohm reading and it won't even fire. I don't get whats going on with this thing. I'm so frustrated. I spent so much money on this thing for it to work like crap after three days of owning it

The later batch of iclear30 are not as good, and they used different parts that my earlier version. I had more leaking issues, and the pin/not firing issue. You should have pulled the pin of the atomizer, and not the MVP. As I mentioned in an earlier post, the ohm reader on the MVP2 can be a bit wonky. I usually turn it off and then back on to try an fix the wonkiness and it usually works. But you might have a bad coil in the iclear as well.

Yes, there is a rubber insulator under the MVP2 firing pin. Even though not all of my atomizers will fire on the MVP2, I would personally never consider pulling the pin in fear of damaging the device.

Make certain that the coil is tight screwed into your iclear and pull the post out a smidge from the connection, making sure the pin isn't touching the side of the connector and try again.

I'm sorry your first experience with the MVP has been negative. It really is a solid little machine.

I fiddled around with the center pin a bit. It's workin pretty good right now. With my EHPRO Kayfun Lite Plus I have to back off the beauty ring a little otherwise I get an A0.00 reading. I back off until I start to get a reading, then tighten down the Kayfun snugly and it's works just fine. Been getting consistent readings and confirming them with my multimeter

I did do the 32 gauge tooth pick at 1.9 ohms with 5-6 wraps. I was pretty good. I have been using a 28g 10 or 11 wrap coil on a 5/64 drill bit and I was ohming at about 1.4. It took forever to heat up initially, but once it did I was getting some really nice vapor. Unfortunately, I will have to wait to use my MVP any time soon. I have it shipping back to the sender today due to a defect in the center pin of the 510 connector. Once i get my batteries for my Nemesis, I'll be dropping down to about 1.0 ohms most likely. :)

Well, it gives you time to wrap coils :)

I've been loving using the mech while during the work day, but I use those Efest 2500 mAh 30 amp batteries, which last as long as the MVP batteries... I don't really notice a huge drop until they're almost drained.

The ironic thing is the reason I began using the mech more was because my drippers connection pins were too short for the MVP. Now I'm using both daily (mech and MVP).

I hope your second go-around with the MVP begins on a better foot!

I just sent back my MVP today for replacement from the seller due to defective center connection on the 510. My 18650 Batteries were supposed to come today with 2 day priority shipping, but NOTHING!!! Hopefully tomorrow, then I caan use my nemesis Mech Mod. I talked to my local B&M and he said he'd throw me a 18650 battery and charger if I made him a couple custom nano micro coils for the Protank II coil heads. I save all my old coilheads for rebuilds, so I made two of them for him, one at 1.5ohm, and one at 1.6 ohms. I did them at 28g on a 1/16" drill bit at 12 wraps TIGHT!!!!! Wicked with cotton and a flavor wick. I wet um already in case he doesn't know better. He isn't familiar with building coils. He said he's never had a cotton wick before, so I was like, "Dude ur missing out" He's gonna run it on the iTaste 134. I ohm tested both coils and both ohmed perfect. I was VERY proud of these nano coil builds. My best work to date. They are so tight, pretty and PERFECT!!!!! Rip Tripper has the best tutorials, such great detail that it makes doing the Nano Micro coil a no-brainer
