When I bought my MVP2, my local B&M told me to use the MVP2 beauty ring with the Kanger Protank 2 since it was a stronger mount. I found through usage that I preferred the draw on the PTII with the beauty ring that came with the tank. I felt like I had to draw to hard with the one for the mvp, so I used the Kanger ring and all good.
Recently, I bought an IGO-L to drip with and love, but had been using it with the PTII beauty ring. Tonight I tried it with the beauty ring that came with the MVP, and it does not make contact with the post on the battery. Ohms reading is NON, and will not fire. Switch back to the protank ring, and all is good.
