I easily get 600 puffs on a full charge when using a 1.3ohm single coil. I think the battery in your mvp is the problem. That rattle you hear could be a loose connecting causing a premature but slow battery drain.

I wrote an email to the company I bought my MVP from advising them I think I have a problem with my device. And they replied "it is working within normal limits" So now, my question is what is normal limits? How many puffs do you get on a full charge? I understand that there are a lot of factors that will produce different results but an average will be fine. Can't wait to hear your results. Thanks again for all of your help. 
Been vaping on my mvp2 at work today with a 1.3ohm coil@11w. So far 450 puffs and my battery is at 4.0v, if i had to guess I would say I got another 500-600 (maybe more, never really paid attention before) to go before it dies. Your mvp2 is definitely faulty.
