Just for future reference, does the standard Kanger single element atty fit the evod glass bdc topper ? tia

I am pretty sure that answer is YES. I use the same coils for the Protank as I use for my EVODs, the chimney that comes with the EVOD is taller though.
* * Someone correct me if I am wrong * * :facepalm:

bdc & bcc coils are different

a look at the picture explains it all very simply

bdc coil sits TALLER, which in turn makes the 'air tube' 'shorter' on a bdc tank...

• put a bcc coil in a bdc tank and the silicone 'cup' washer WON'T touch/seal

• a bdc coil in a bcc tank, the base won't reach the threads

:)

Anyone have any advice on the upgraded Kanger coils? I vaped an entire tank of ITC Dirty Dutchman without even a hint of a dry hit,
filled the tank back up with Gold RY4 and now she's dry hitting quite a bit...

what tank ya using ?

sounds 'vapor-lock'd' to me

so you have a kanger bdc ? (2 hole or slot)

• suggest you close off air intake, draw thru so to see BUBBLES RISE inside tank (cured)

if not, take coil out and over saturate the wick
even to the point of flooding & gurgle

then in that state dry-hits should disappear
then solve the 'wet' condition

:)

keep us informed

Just be warned not everyone can get this to work.. There's also been like 4 different revisions of their bdc since last year so you gotta watch which version the store has in stock.

Somewhere out there
at 1.8 ohm new dual coil with 8.5-10w it takes me a bit more than a half day(650 puffs). Is that normal? aww and thnks for the fast response! :)

Sounds pretty normal to me. I got the yellow LED yesterday at right around 600 puffs on my 9 month old MVP2. On my 1.5 year old MVP1, it will no longer get through a whole day, but close.

regardless of the 3 versions, all kanger bdc are of the same dimension
kanger made sure it worked out that way
I don’t have any of the ‘slot’ version bdc (newest), but I have both ‘exposed wick’ & ‘2-hole’

I m not convinced on bdc or bvc yet

I just used rubber fuel/vacuum hose from the AUTO world...

I am convinced on dual coils with my lo-po MVP / eGos
I don’t like or use them (32ga/single coils/cotton for me)

but the ‘bvc’ is a different story, it is vertical but it is a single coil
I’ve yet to use either version, but sure hear/read all the hype of such...

bdc vs bvc 4.jpg

my goal is to get one of these (uses old small bdc)
- Aspire BDC Vivo Nova Clearomizer | Aspire BDC Vivo Nova | Aspire Clearomizer | Sure Vapes
and install one of these new (small bvc) coils and see what happens
- Aspire / Vapeonly BVC Replacement Coil Head

(like I need more clearos,)

Anyone repair an MVP that won't charge anymore?
Still works as a pass through, but won't take a charge.

sometimes the guts just get out of sync
try 3 clk off/on a few times, plug in and remove a few times
what I am suggesting is manipulating the control management inside ??
you describe “still works as passthru” so I’ll go with eliminating that
the connector is at fault and your cables are sufficient…

from reading others with same troubles seem the control chip
just needs a slap in the face on occaision – worth a try...

hmmm..I am at 730 with a green light. watching because I want to notate where it is at when it turns yellow.
It is only a few weeks old and although it sits on my desk and I hit it all day it is not my go to and def not my ADV piece of gear. That would be my Vamo.

Not so much with the aerotank, but I'm sporting full-sized Nautiluses on my MVPs. I think it depends on your coil resistance and your Volt/Watt settings. I'm a pretty heavy vaper (I run 1.8Ω coils at about 10.5W,) and so many folks claim that their MVPs last a couple of days - I can vape through a fully-charged MVP in a day quite easily. That's why I have three of 'em now :)

I am with ya Lady Ding, I vape heavy and have to charge my MVP on the way home from work.

I also got a quirky MVP that doesn't charge up to 4.2, only did that once when I first got it. Now when fully charged it reads 4.1 and I get about 400 puffs until yellow. I am ok with it as I have a charger at home, work and car for just that reason.

I rotate my mech and drip when I am home too, so my MVP isn't worked as hard at night as it is during drive to/from work and at work ( blowing clouds under my desk ;)

Why does mine read 4.4 at 736 puffs?

In my best TV announcer voice..."We have secretly switched Chanelvaps MVP 2 with the new and improved MVP3...Let's see his reaction!"

Howard Cosell here, tonight we have a vape bout for the ages...

-holding both buttons:
-first display is, Coil Ω’s
-second display is, Charge Remaining in internal battery
- - -
single button operation:
>push and hold (top button) "P" for watts control
>push and hold (bottom button) "U" for volts control
-the first display will always be Puff Counter (0-999)
(which actually just counts how many times you push your Fire button)
-second number displayed is the adjustable setting (v or w)

oh ok gotcha
so my voltage is 4.4 then and my remaining battery is 3.7> Is this time to charge even though I have a green light?
