Its been my experience that some people are so miserable they just HATE seeing someone else do something they enjoy- unless they enjoy it too...

If you ever find out who it is, I suggest you stay the ....... away from them in all ways possible; people like that will suck the happiness right out of your life.

I wouldnt call myself Mr. Happy nor would I claim to be an optimist, but if someone were enjoying something that I didnt care for I would genuinely try to deal with it. IF it was really that offensive, I would take it up with them and try to work out a compromise. Is it really so hard to try and meet people half way? We all have such a finite time on this planet- we all would be so much happier if people genuinely tried to help each other instead of being bitter narcissists (which is unfortunately condoned at a banal level in our society anyways)...

I can picture whoever ratted on you telling a co-worker or friend what he/she did with a smug look of self-importance on his/her face. I tried to find a vomit emoticon, but unfortunately the forum doesnt have one :(

We are quickly becoming a society Bereft of any compassion.

I agree that things are much better when people speak to one another, rather than "Get Off" on the misery they create by their lack of compassion.

I probably change heads too often, but when I lose TH, or flavor seems off, etc I check everything out, and if nothing smacks me in the head, I then change the head (I do not rebuild coils/heads) and I am currently in love with BVC heads - but anyhow, changing the head always magically fixes the issue. - Which is why I keep doing it.

You're probably right. Changing heads has always fixed my issue in the past. Just seems odd that it happened right after a juice top off.

Usually when my coils start to fail I get an "off" taste and leaks. That's usually my cue to swap.

I'll change it when I get home from work and see if that fixes it. Thanks!

My experience (not more than a few months FWIW) with the Russian is that the coil seems fine until it blows- its the wick and buildup on the coil that results in poor performance.

Depending on the juice and wicking material, I usually change my wicks every 1-3 refills of the Russian. I take the wick out, rinse the coil/base with water, blow out the air ports and blow off the coil with compressed air, burn the coil clean off the mvp, rewick, presoak the wick, clean everything else and reassemble.

My protank coils dont seem to last quite as long, but there is less wicking material space and I generally use 32guage wire to avoid deforming the silicon/rubber base grommets.

I just purchased an MVP 2 and have been trying it out the last couple of days. This after 5 years of Joyetech 510 atomizers on their little batteries then on to eGo batteries. I was too confused by all the equipment coming out back then, so I just stuck with my little beginner's kit, lol. This past month, I finally felt like I was ready to expand and upgrade my vaping experience. So, back to these forums for research.

I decided on the MVP 2 for simplicity's sake, and the Nautilus Mini. I use 100% VG juice, and I don't think the Nauti was crazy about it. So I tried the iClear 30 that came with the MVP. Oh yeah, it works a charm. This may be the subject for another forum, but after years of atomizers, I am accustomed to a tight draw. Even the smallest air adjustment setting on the Nauti was too airy for me, but the iClear 30 is very close to what I am used to.

I went ahead and ordered some juice (Tobacco Sampler Pack) from Halo to see if the Nauti likes it better. I'm a bit nervous to try juice with PG in it, but it should be here in the next day or 2, so we'll see what comes of that.

Anyway, thanks all, for sharing your experiences and your expertise. It certainly helps those of us searching for a better way.

Thing that got me away from real cigs was finding juice that was NOT tobacco flavored! :)
And yeah, I'm an i30 fan.
