Do you have another device or Ohm-checking device you could test your atomiser on? Your MVP2 might be faulty. Failing that, your atomiser coil might need cleaning or replacing, if the iClear is a rebuildable (I'm not familiar with it, sorry!) Best thing to do is test the resistance on another device and compare. Find the source, and work from there.
I'm not sure if the MVP 2.0 works the same way as the MVP 20W, but the reading your seeing sounds more like the voltage, and not the resistance of the coil it's detecting.
I'm sure someone else may be able to give you more accurate information..hope your able to figure it out.
I have had issues with my iclear30s misreading. I always used them in VV mode anyways so it didn't effect anything. Fire it a few times, take a couple puffs, recheck resistance and it should be back down to normal. Atleast this is has always worked for me.
I agree. That would be my guess too. If one coil in a dual-coil atty dies, the resistance of the atomizer immediately doubles (a 2.1 ohm DC consists of two 4.2 ohm coils).
