my friend just got an igo-w and built a coil lastnight and asked me to throw it on my mvp 2.0 and it said non for resistance so didnt try to fire it at all any ideas as to why it displayed non for the ohm checker? i want an igo-w but want to make sure i can use it first.

Did it still have the beauty ring that it came with it on it? Mine does the same thing when the ring is on it...I usually put a airflow controller on it and it works fine. Or it will work with just a reg ego beauty ring.

Been running my IGO-L on my MVP and it works fine. You can fire a coil as low as .9. Only problem is, the battery has a 3 Amp limit no matter what you set it at. If you want a tasty vaping experiance, build a 1.5 coil and that should work just fine. Running my Kayfun Clone right now with double barrel 1 ohm coils. It is fine for me. Still prefer my IGO.

I was running my Fatty V3 clone at 0.85 ohms on my MVP2 @11watts. Its a single coil build so didn't have any issues.

My primary MVP2 topper is a EhPro KFL+ which is 1 ohm resistance (Also single coil) that I run at the max wattage of 11. No problems with that either.

As for your device reading NON, you are going to have to gently wiggle the center post up a little bit using a very small flathead, assuming your center post on your topper is non adjustable. Do note that as soon as you switch back your topper that has a longer center pin, you will have to repeat the process again when you switch back to the topper that was reading "non" Hope that helps!

The MVP's only problem is the inconsistent depth of the well the pin sits inside of..it seems to range a good bit from batch to batch. Mine, I had to always mess with carto pins to get them to make contact, but my friend never seems to have to do that.

If you have issues with making contact with things, try to adjust the pin on the atomizer first, but the youde atomizers mostly have sealed pins that won't budge. So you'll have to get a small flathead screwdriver and gently pull up on the MVP's pin. Just put the screwdriver in on the side of the pin, put slight pressure against it, so when you pull up the screwdriver, it slightly moves the pin up. I do that on 3-4 sides of it..I eventually got fed up with it, and I'm glad to have switched to adjustable/floating pins..but I'm glad I had the experience with the MVP. Mine got ran over and still functioned great, with only minor warping on the bottom..but it's not like it was noticeable, cuz the output switch wouldn't let it sit flush, so I didn't even notice that until my friend using it pointed it out.:) stellar device..it and the vv are my only recommendations for people that don't want cigalikes.
