I've had my MVP 2 for about 3 months now and the 510 connector threads don't hold tanks well anymore. I never over tightened anything and used either the beauty ring that came with it or an ego cone to take up slack and stabilize the tank. They don't look stripped but it looks like the connector expanded just enough to keep the threads from gripping. I used some needle nose pliers with a tank threaded in to squeeze it down a bit and that worked and ordered a smok tech 510 airflow controller so I don't have to use the mod threads. Has anyone else have this happen? It dosent seem right to have to do this with a device I just bought last October

It's not visible so I thought it was my carto tank setup so I switched to another tank and it was the same. As far as I can tell its from the tanks rocking in my pocket or in the cup holder while driving. I do switch tanks a few times during the day. It's funny how 30 years of cigs and I smoked pretty much the same flavor day in and day out but now I need different vapes throughout the day but I digress. I wonder if they use a soft metal for the 510 contact. I've read that the connector is an issue on the VTR also.
