Sounds like a good plan. When you get the mechs, consider getting some kicks which should fit with most mechs. Advantage is one, a little extra protection (same is true of just buying a fuse) and two, setting a voltage and getting a more even vape sorta like your regulated mods. and when those die, you've still got the mech to use as long as it holds out, which should be a long time except maybe for the spring on the fire button.

Oh, stick with mechs with 510 connections, not the faux hybrids.

I always pull out the spring and put in magnets

My bad. Didn't realize you were already using mechs.

From your order it looks like your going to make some sort of strawberry banana desert mix. It's good that you bought several different types of the same flavor because not all flavors taste the same. I also see you didn't buy PG so I assume your going with a high VG mix.
As was mentioned you may get board with the same type flavor mix but I think your on the right track for your first attempt.

Here is some research to help you with your technique.

My blogs will give insight into all aspects of DIY, from steeping to what supplies to have on hand to a basic walk through mixing your first E-juice.

Then read hoosier's blogs. These blogs concentrate on fine tuning your mix and give insight on additives.

Then read Boletus's blog's. These blogs concentrate on formulation of nicotine bases regarding proper calculations methods for figuring Nicotine concentration as well as safety.

Then read Ginger's book "E-Cigarettes 102: DIY E-Liquid". It is a book which I've contributed to that delivers an in depth easy to follow guide in the art of DYI.

E-Cigarettes 102: DIY E-Liquid

I recommend viewing VPLive Vape Team Episode #82: DIY Safety and bookmark it for future reference. It explains safety in all aspects of DYI.

then read the stickies at the top of the page.

this will explain a lot of the how's and why's.

Good idea buying just a few flavors to start. I made the mistake of ordering a bunch of stuff without having actual recipes in mind. Didn't make for the smoothest introduction to DIY for me.

Amen to that brother!
I have 4 oz of lots of flavors, some I actually like and mix. None of some I'd like to try.
