Yes, it has passed already; it was December 10th. 4 years on and still vaping. Although I didn't start vaping with V4L products, discovering them kept me off the cigs. My epiphany came one day driving away from the ice rink, I was working my way through a menthol sampler carto pack. I stuck a Wowboy Peppermint onto the passthrough in my car and was blown away. I remember thinking; "Why would anyone smoke when they can have this? It's so good it should be illegal!"
DH still hates my vaping, he really does, despite being grateful I no longer smoke. I know at least one person who gave up vaping after giving up smoking, but I am just not going to.
I've gone through many stages as a vaper. The need for ecigs to look, feel & taste like a real cig fell away once I discovered V4Ls amazing range of coloured batteries, especially the Vapor Titans with the lovely jewelled tips and different coloured LEDs. I quickly found two flavours that worked for me as everyday/night choices, so stopped trying the different juices. I went through a stage of trying 510 threaded stuff like egos, even a Provari, but soon came back to Titans. Tanks were all the go for a while, with pretty coloured ming vase drip tips. Then came the Dual Mode Zeus and Smileomizers. Somehow all the searching ended. I'd found my vaping nirvana and haven't felt any desire to try anything else since.
I'm a happy vaper and a happy V4Ler.
So here's cheers to the rest of you, whether newly started on your vaping journey, still in the process of working it all out, or settled like me.
