First off a few thank you's To TomCatt a few weeks ago he offered some voltage regulators on a Modding PIF free to anyone. So I took him up on his offer and he sent me 3 LM350T that he had left at no cost to me. A very classy act so once again Thanks TomCatt. Also to Thank you to dontal for a very easy to follow schematic using a LM350T which he called his Poorvari mod.

This was a very easy and inexpensive VV mod to build.

The box I used came from Dillards It originally had a pair of cufflinks (I had been eyeing for awhile) Cost Free
Lm350T TomCatt Free
batteries Trust Fire 16340 2.99 a pair
Battery Connector MadVapes 1.49
Horn Switch MadVapes .89
Led/Resistor MadVapes Bought 2 a few months ago what I thought were slow changing LEDs
Used 1 on a Puck worked great, this one turned out to be fast changing
but all good I like it better. .89
1K Pot Radioshack 1.69
Resistors, On/Off Switch Removed from a old broken alarm clock Free
Any thing else from spare parts bin

Total 7.95

I wanted a recessed vivi nova on it then discovered that if I install LED next to it inside enclosure it lights up only the Vivi nova looks pretty cool to me especially at night.

But this brings me to my question I am already thinking about changes like a stainless steel horn switch with red or green LED ring Link http://www.adafruit.com/products/482 and right below that a red or green Voltage Display. I Can't Decide

So here's the questions

Do you think I should keep it like it is?

or should I add more Bling like a switch and display?

or Any Suggestions/

or Just Put it out of Misery Its too ugly to live?

Thanks for reading and any help

By the way the Last Picture is of my 4 Mods I built so far.

i think it looks realy nice !
i see u made also some wood boxes nice ! if you offset the atty you could use a switch i made w a ballpoint spring i made .
myne is a slider but you could go streight up with pushbotton on top .saves a lot of real estate in box.
sure nice to see your mods ...ceep it up!!
ps my thread is called wooden boxes and home made switches
