I have been using the 510 for about 3 weeks, when I used it with the prefilled carts it was ok, small vapor but no leak.

Then my JC juice came and since the first drop it has been leaking, I'm not sure if it has something to do with a normal wear and tear of the carts or the atty opening getting expanded by the heat. The think is that it leaks between the atty and cart.

However it doesn't leak if I don't puff, but right after a puff you can see some liquid getting out :( I have tried the tea bag mod, the straw mod and no mod at all and it happens all the time...

I don't think I'm over filling it, I just put 10 drops the first time and then 5 as topping when I get no vapor (and no leakage). From the videos I have seen I don't even get close to have bubbles when filling, I'm sure they can take more liquid...

Should I try to put a tape between the atty and cart? or will it make it worst after? not sure what to do

Hello Superstargoddess,

I don't think I suck too hard, I take slow, deep and long puffs (around 3 seconds), and I have never got any liquid in my mouth. Maybe it's the e-liquid, sometimes I get a good throat hit but no vapor (and I don't hold it too much).

The strange thing is that sometimes I'm almost sure that my cart is almost empty and then it leaks :(

I think I'll try to get new carts, maybe the flat ones... are they good?

I find the "whistle tip" carts for the 510 "click" it and form a much better seal. Besides, I like them better because of the no sharp edge and more comfortable to vape with.

You will however still get (not as much mind you) seeping between the cart and the atty. Metal to plastic heats at different rates and will cause sweating and leeching between the surfaces.

I usually make sure to take a kleenex and lightly wipe the exterior or the cart and interior wall of the atty whenever I have them apart. And if I've overdone it a little when topping off or filling the cart beyond it simply being moist, I'll dab the cart material surface unless I'm ready to do some one after the other hits on the PV right away.

Unfortunately, if left together and used for a long period of time, or if your out in the heat, I've found there is no way to "totally" prevent it.

Greg

What kind of 510 atty are you using? Are they the wide band with Titan on the side or the thin gold band?
If it's a thin gold band, look down in the atty, does it have what looks like a silver washer at the bottom around the bridge?
I've got a few of the washer types (the infamous "new & improved") & yes, mine leak more easily than the true Titans.
