My atlantis will not open

I was casually using my Atlantis about 2 days ago, and it needed refilled. So, like always I picked up my bottle of liquid and (attempted) to unscrew my Atlantis to refill and it won't budge. The really easy to move airflow adjustment part doesn't help either. I've had this problem before so I got some dish washing gloves and tried it, because this has always worked for me in the past, but nothing. HELP.

Biggest problem with the Aspire tanks. For me I have sometimes have to use a rubber glove on one hand and a rubber jar opener in the other...sometimes after running it under hot water. Best thing to do is to realize that you don't have to tighten it as far as it can go, the seal doesn't need much help

Once you get it opened up, don't tighten it down all the way. This helps the wicking holes be exposed, and helps tremendously with getting it off for a refill.

Just be patient and you'll eventually get it done.

Pliers. Cover the base with the edge of a dish cloth or multiple narrow strips of paper towel to keep from scratching it. Rubber or vinyl glove on the opposite hand.
