Is this normal? It seems to be all of them, no matter which battery I use. It's a Janty eGo and 510 attys. Whenever I take off my atty cone (the cone that you screw on over the atty on the eGo), there is ejuice all over. This happens when I drip, which is exclusivly. Am I over filling the Atty? I only use 3-4 drops at one time. Thanx all. Oh yeah, I'M STILL SMOKE FREE AFTER 1 MONTH !!:vapor:

I suspect you are over-filling your atomizer.

Remove the atomizer from the battery.
Blow out the atomizer to remove excess juices.
(there are plenty of instruction here at ECF as to how to blow out the atomizer)

Take a q-tip / cotton swap and clean out your atomizer well (top of your battery)

Put atomizer back onto the battery.

Take a few vapes. Give it a minute and take a couple more vapes.
Now we should have all excess juices removed from that atomizer.

Decrease the amount of juice you are putting on your atomizer.

Keep me posted / updated...ok? ok.
Thank you,
Paula

PS - Make SURE your battery is powered up and strong. A weak battery will not heat that atomizer correctly and juice will drip when you have a WEAK battery.

Keep in mind, if you are not vaping all your liquid, 3 drops may actually be too much. Usually a little gurgling tells me that that I am flooded, and I blow out about ten times in a paper towel, and add 3 drops if you do that often enough, and pay attention to how many draws you are getting, you will eventually get a better feel for when you need more drops, but before you get that dry atty nastiness.

I use a LR306 on my ego. They are a dripping machine. Its impossible to flood these babys. And the the vapor, flavor and TH is totally awesome.

I use the joye brand, but there are others out there. They are only for dripping, so make sure to get a drip tip, otherwise you cannot drip with the cone (you can, but you have to remove the cone each time you drip)

Try them and you wont be sorry.

I forgot to add that mine leak a little too, but I have found a broken in LR306 leaks less, either that or I am just getting a feel for them.

Been thinking about this. One thing I forgot to mention is the viscosity of your juice.

PG = thinner juice
VG = thicker juice

The viscosity of your juice depends on the ratio of PG / VG.

I tend to use quite a bit of VG in my juices. That's just me. It's the way I like it.

PG = more throat hit
VG = more vapor

Just something to think about,
Paula

Thanks so much everyone for you help. I think I am overfilling it, (I get the "gurgling" sound). I also will try the 306 atty with my eGo. I bought some LR's but don't like them very much, they just kill the flavor. I'll keep you posted. Thanks again.

Tim

Try different flavors in your LR atty's.

I have found that some flavors are better in an LR atty vs the 510 atty.

I have also found some flavors are better in a standard 510 atty vs the LR atty.

It takes a bit of playing around, but it is worth it. Our tastes change. Someday you may pick up a juice you didn't really like and find it is now to your liking.

Hope this helps,
Paula

when I drip in a 3v device I only use 2 drops at a time. still a little leakage but it helps.

Hi Vega$$....first off, LOVE the pic of the ride...sweeeeet! 2nd, I have the same issues on all three of my Ego's...every time I take the cone off, there it is...I have to admit, I don't blow out my atty's like I should, but before I charge up batts, I use a q-tip or papertowel and clean out the batt before I hook it up....I'm glad you brought this up, I will have to be better at my upkeep....but have been doing this since August and my batts and atty's which are my originals, are purrrfect!

Most if not all attys are gonna leak. I drip alot too and have started putting a piece of heat shirnk about 1/4 wide down close to the bottom heat it then trim flush with bottom.
Attys expand and contract with heat so you are gonna get leaks but this will completly eliminate leaks out the side and the more you use it the tighter the band gets.

True, but not that true IMHO. There is a tutorial to mod a juice well:
http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...my-first-build-plus-question.html#post2543033
But there is also this tutorial to a succesful dripping technique. If those rules are carried out and one becomes an 'expert' to direct dripping, then, no matter what, flooding will not occur. Simply not. But it takes a lot of practice and sometimes atties need adjustments.
