Hello Everyone!

vaping has been a fun journey for me so far (I've been at it for about 6 weeks). I don't know if its cheaper than smoking in the short term - I've been bleeding money on 'toys' since I started.

Started with a KR808D-1 (a smoke NV kit). I really like it despite the fact their customer service didn't know what a passthrough battery was and refused to tell me of any compatible options.

Hated their flavors of juice and ridiculous prices though. Soon figured out how to clean and refill their 'proprietary' cartos with other ejuices. Hated having to recharge the battery every couple of hours.

Just got my eGo-C (bought a twist battery as well to give that a try) with a bunch of CE4 Plus Clearomizers. So far plagued with crappy clearomizers, and realized I use the twist at the same voltage as the standard battery. I love the battery life, but hate the mess.

So, I don't know if the clearomizers are just a bad batch and I should try buying more from a different supplier. I certainly have tried a lot less juice to avoid the overfilling issue and I still have the problem. I also see the eGo-C leaks when laid down - which I have to do - so maybe I should just give up on the eGo during the day.

Any suggestions for the ease of the 808 with the battery life of the eGo, with the capacity of a clearomizer?

Really becoming tempted to go back to smoking to save money:)

Once you settle on a delivery system that works for you and a pv to best suit that delivery system it does get easier on the bank account. Finding "the one juice" has been the hardest for me.

When it comes to the clearomizers I've never had good luck with them, but there are videos on youtube that will help you get them to a better place from what I understand. I used the ego-c for 3 months, never had leaking issues except when it was in the extremely hot kitchen I work in and even then they were slight and only caused by the liquid thinning due to the heat. I finally settled on the old style direct dripping the liquid into an atomizer, then a Reo bottom feeder mod to take out the hassel of direct dripping.

There are so many devices and delivery systems out there, I wouldn't give up just yet, and I know the hassels of it on a limited budget, but once you find what works for you it will all even out and you will start to see the savings.

I went through a few different tanks, cartos etc. trying to find what worked for me as I ended up hating the ego-t tank system (JMO) and I finally found what works. I've been using this for about 2 weeks now and havent had any problems at all. .eGo Sunfire Coil Changeable Cartomizer - black | Cartomizers | iVAPE The only thing was i had to order new tips Mouthpiece for Kanger CC (Coil Changeable) clearomizer bc the originals cracked (I think the guys at ivape are getting some in now though). Good luck!

I'm confused, are you using the eGo-C as an eGo-C or just the eGo-C batteries with the CE4? Or both ways?

If using the eGo-C as an eGo-C it only leaks when laid down if you've flooded it, in which case it will leak no matter what way it is if flooded enough and allowed to sit without being dried out.
Generally flooding happens from sucking too hard, although it can happen when an atty gets plugged which results in sucking too hard. Flooding can also happen when the tank is allowed to get too low with a thin juice.
It could also be the atty needs adjusted but I won't get into that until I know what you're using.

If you're only using the eGo-C batteries with CE4s don't worry about directions for an eGo-C, you're not using one.

LOL The learning curve is awesome with these.
I have an eGo-C passthrough kit that came with CE4s instead of the standard cone system - so I guess its not really a eGo-C :) I didn't think I would like dripping so that configuration made sense to me. I got the twist kit with the same thing - the CE4s. I can get the cone tank as an additional purchase for this, so I thought I could always add that later if I decide to drip.

I am using a 70/30 blend (both 12mg and 0mg versions) - I was lucky to hit on juices I like in my first sample order.

I am looking into a tank, but I like to switch up between a few juices during the day and thought I could have a 'few' of the CE4's loaded and ready. But that isn't working too well for me, so I might just stick to my favorite until I figure all this out.

Question on the vivi nova or other tanks... are they hard to switch flavors? Do you clean them between flavors or have several on the go at once?

Yep, don't worry about what's said about eGo-Cs unless you have a battery issue. Clearomizers are where you'll find your help.
The only thing I know (from reading) about the Clearomizers is that some juices can crack them. Given that you've said you lost a whole tank to a leak I'd look for that. If that's the case avoid using that juice in a clearo.

eGo-C's are an internal tank not dripping. But to set yourself up with an eGo-C top is $20 for a try it kit and that only comes with 1 atty.

Any 510 carto should work on your eGo batteries (I would try one before stocking up just in case). If you liked the 808 other than battery life you may like a carto on your eGo batteries.
I've recently started dabbling in modern cartos and don't think they're for me.

Assuming you're talking an external tank strapped to a carto I think you're into the same concept as you had with the CE4s because the filler/large wick area is going to hold the old flavor.
IMO you are better off keeping one flavor to one coil. If a liquid that kills a coil quickly is mixed with one that will last, the one that kills quickly will be the weakest link.
I can change flavors on an eGo-C fast but then my attys don't last. I'll average 2 weeks on all of them mixing vs 2 weeks on some and 5 weeks on others if I keep the atty to separate flavors.

I have switched to basically using nothing but vivi novas at this point, nothing else really compares for vapor production or flavor IMHO, other than dripping. I have never had one leak at all, and I carry one on my provari(often in my pocket) and another one in my pocket loose to switch flavors during the day, every day.
