My Big Survey -- Updated. 606 Opinions on 167 Tobacco Flavors

In case you missed my last thread on this (here), I'll give you a quick explanation as to what this list is.

Basically, as I have been reading the ECF, I have been recording people's opinions on tobacco flavors. If they like it or recommend it, I give the flavor a "positive vote". If they dislike it I give it, it gets a "negative vote". To put it simply, this list ranks tobacco flavors and helps me learn what is out there and what is popular. I'm posting it here in the hope it may help some newbies (like me) figure out what to order, and maybe expose some old-timers to some new flavors (there are 167 on the list after all).

If you want to quickly find your favorite flavor on this list, just hit "Ctrl+F" (in Firefox) and do a search for it by name. I used the exact names off the vendor's sites.

Note:
This list shows ties. For instance, W2V's Blondie and Vaprite's Rou's are both tied for 7th place with 14 votes each. Every flavor on this list (save the last 2) was recommended by someone. In other words, just because a flavor is half way down the list, doesn't mean it is "bad". Over half the list is tied for 19th place with only 1 vote.

Thanks to all who like the list. I hope someone besides myself finds it helpful.

I am very interested in trying Boba's. It was in fourth place for the longest time, then it just ran away with the lead and hasn't looked back. To me, it seems like it is clearly the most popular liquid on the ECF. Of course, that can always change. Also their Gorilla Juice seems interesting. It is consistently gaining on Casablanca, and I think it'll eventually take the number 2 spot.

I think it's fanboy hype. Ppl rant and rave about how great FSUSA was. I tried like 30 different vapes from them and didnt like any of them. Even tried them a second time because of all the rave reviews. I hvent tried the AVE stuff yet though but got some on the way and I'll surely post my findings later this week.

Boba's bounty is completely different than Purecig. Boba's has a sweet taste, reminds me of graham crackers. It is good but I don't taste tobacco in it at all.

I don't know about Boba's, because I haven't tried it yet, but I'm with you on that point. I'm amazed at the number of tobacco flavors that don't taste anything like tobacco to me at all. I have a theory on that... I often wonder if it's because the guys making these flavors have been vaping for so long that they don't know what tobacco tastes like any more. I mean, thats a good thing -- that they've given up smoking -- but you certainly can't make an accurate flavor from an old memory. Maybe I'm wrong. Who knows.

Okay I got the bob a bounty yesterday and it tastes like the ry4 stuff that I've had at so many other companies. As far as it tasting like tobacco? Nope.

I like the gorilla juice though like fudgy banana nut bread or something. Quite pleasant.

Tobacco flavor gotta try the gotavapes tastes like an ashtray for sure. Good stuff!

If you're looking for an authentic tobacco vape, I'd recommend you try NiteLiteVapor Gold Rush, it is very affordable and the most authentic tobacco vape I've experienced so far.

I've even said in another thread that if I were trying to get someone off of analogs and wanted to give them the closest thing I could come up with so they could experience an analog in an E-Cig form, it would definitely be Gold Rush, from my experience, I haven't tried everything, but it's pretty damn realistic if you ask me.

No caramel, no chocolate, no vanilla, strong straight-up tobacco flavor, has an almost harsh kind of throat hit that totally feels more like an authentic analog than anything else I've had, and immediately vapable, no steep time required.


...And Bob'a Bounty tasted Nothing like any RY4 I've had, not even close.

If you're looking for an authentic tobacco vape, I'd recommend you try NiteLiteVapor Gold Rush, it is very affordable and the most authentic tobacco vape I've experienced so far.

I'm looking so hard for something that can get me off analogues. For me, I think I need a flavor that is very authentic, which so many "tobacco" flavors really are not. I have tried non-tobacco flavors at the recommendation of others, "because vaping isn't somkeing, etc, etc", but it's not for me. To me it's gross. If I want to taste cookies, I'll go eat cookies. I find it nauseating when something tastes like it shouldn't. For example, if I bit into a steak and it tasted like a banana -- I'd think, "oh god, gross!" -- but of course, if I eat a banana and taste banana, then that's fine. I get the concept of non-tobacco flavors, and I understand why they work for a lot of poeple, but it's just not for me. I know vaping isn't smoking, but since I'm using vaping to quit smoking, it needs to be damn close. ... which is why I am on this hunt (the list) and why I am excited about any recommendations for authentic tobacco flavors, so thanks!

Rar: Thanks for the kind words. It really is staggering how many good juices are out there -- or at least their good to someone. When I started this, I thought the list might include 50, maybe 75, I had no idea what I was getting into. lol.

Also, it's really not as much work as it looks like. Once it was set up, all there was to do was just to add "votes" as I read threads. In fact, I'd say figuring out how to post it here in a way that didn't look like crap was more work... If only the ECF allowed html tables!

This was really a great effort and I thank you. Am new to vaping and this was a big help. Unfortunately, I'm trying to find the perfect menthol light 100 analog taste and nicotine strength (as well as VG/PG mix)-- and haven't even come close so far--despite tons of recommendations from all the nice folks on ECF.
