Over the past weekend, I went for a trip to visit my Bride of 35 Years in the great city of Houston....
I traveled from Florida through Atlanta and on into Houston....

I'm not one to blow out a bunch of vape in public especially in Airports or Planes as to not get into trouble with the TSA or local Police.... I don't have anything I need to prove.,.. Just let me Stealth vape and leave me alone..... All went pretty well and ran into no issues with anyone or anything worth going into...

But,,,,, I made the big mistake of going into one of the Smoking Lounges in the Atlanta airport.....I felt I could vape openly (Which I did) and looked around as a steady stream of analog users came in to get their fix before boarding.... Despite the ample exhaust fan going in the room,,,, It was just overwhelming for me....I mean, I was choking on the smoke..... I'm not the type of person who is grossed out by someone else smoking, nor do I put down anyone who does... I did it for 30 plus years and was once was one of those of the steady streams coming into one of those rooms to get my fix.....No one bothered me and I got my fix after about 5-7 minutes,,,, I had to get out.... On my return trip,,,, I just stayed away from them... My Best Advice,,, Stay out of the smoking lounges...
You'll be glad you did!!!!

Does anyone ever go and hide in the bathroom on a plane to vape???

I vape in airport bathrooms and sometimes openly in the airport, but never the plane. most airlines I know of have banned it on planes. although I don't appreciate smokers and vapors being persecuted, I don't relish the idea of getting arrested or giving vapors a bad name.
smoking has been banned on airplanes for years, we should be used to not being able to smoke on the plane.

On a plane? No, haven't tried it. I've gone three weeks without vaping before. Just goes to show how much less addictive vaping can be vs analogs.

If I were to absolutely need to vape, I'd get a small form factor vaporizer, hide it in my hand while I take hits. Just grip it so just the drip tip is showing between the thumb and index finger. Then hold the vaper in annnddd stealth vape. I imagine if you pretend to be sick and exhale vapor into one of those vomit bags you'll be safer.

I'll never do it though because I try to obey the law as much as possible.

Vapor behaves a lot like smoke so I tend to avoid it in public places. It looks a bit like smoke, it lingers a little like smoke and it smells a little. Don't try to be a smart-..., it doesn't always smell nice to others. I never tried on a plane, but I'll probably sneak it to the bathroom if I got myself on a flight over 4 hours.

I few LAX to Sydney last year, a 16-hour ordeal, and was REALLY tempted to sneak some vape in the lav.... but couldn't work up the guts. My main concern was setting off the smoke detector, as my eliquids are mostly VG.

A coworker of mine vapes all the time on airplanes, but he uses those Blu style units with 100% PG prefilled cartos, so his unit generates that "seeing your breath in the cold" vape, and exhales into a blanket. He says he's never had a problem with it.
