My buddy handed out vapes to smokers

Just something cool I wanted to share.

My buddy and I were out one day at a bar. Why do all of my stories begin with me being at a bar? I may have to look a little more at my life choices, but I don't regret anything .....

Anyways, we were hanging out at bar and out front vaping. A stranger comes up and asks if he can bum a smoke. I told him sorry, we don't smoke but we vape. My buddy says that he doesn't have any cigarettes, but he can have one of these if he really wants. He pulls out a Blu cigalike and hands it to the guy. He stated that he has never vaped, but he would give it a try and thanked him. I thought that was very cool of him.

Throughout the night, we got approached 2 more times, by 2 girls who wanted to bum a smoke and he gave them a cigalike. So I asked him what's up with him giving those away. He told pulled like at least 10 more out of his pockets and told he has a ton of these.

Apparently a mutual friend of ours is a Vape distributor received a ton of these and other cigalikes that he didn't order and through some sort of issues, the vendor didn't want to deal with the troubles and logistics of getting it sent back. My buddy helped him one day reorganizing his "warehouse", aka garage, and he was given all of them because he doesn't sell them.

So he carries a few with him when he goes out and gives them out to people.

That is a super cool story thanks for sharing it. I have spent a lot of time in bars, now, not so much, and there's plenty I regret in my life, but not enough to not do it all over again (though I do sort of hope that isn't what happens after death, Groundhog day is one of my least favorite movies).

The survival aspect is why I still have a bic in my purse. Never know when you might need a fire. Could be something as simple as lighting Birthday candles.

A bit pricey to do without his getting them free, but a great thing to do.

A year or so ago, a local bottle shop had a counter display with individual disposable cig-alikes for a buck. Old stock or some such, I'm sure.
Bought two. Don't recall a brand... came in a tall tic-tac sort of container.

Still pricey for the purpose, but a bulk purchase for maybe half that and I'd be handing them out too.
