My first generation Cloupor dna30 that's about four months has many of the known quirks, one of which is the screen will turn itself on randomly. It doesn't fire by itself, just lights up without touching any buttons. I always thought it might drain a hair more battery when it happens so I put mine in stealth mode after I've locked the power where I want it :)

Oh and I'm not sure where you got yours Ekat or if they told you that there is a three month warranty from Cloupor on the mod. If anything happens within three months and the vendor won't help fix or replace it then email Cloupor directly. There's contact info on their website Cloupor.com and they'll answer all emails within twenty four hours. I've actually just had a bunch of email exchanges with them and they are sending me a replacement mod and I'm keeping the old one that still works fine but just has many of the known issues that most of the version ones had. Right now I'm really impressed with Cloupor and their support. :)

That is one of the con's of the Cloupor DNA, it is a battery life stealer .... even while its not in use the battery will drain.

Yup , i can't get good battery life regardless of what battery i use , it's definitely far from what many would consider efficient. I hate not being able to turn it on/off since it turns on by itself all the time , even when outside away from everything. Mine takes three to four clicks to fire , used to take one.

Ekat,

I'm not sure if this will help, but here are the specs on the Evolv board for various modes. This shouldn't be happening based on these numbers.
Screen On Current
25mA
Quiescent Current
1 mA
Power Down Current
22 uA

I didn't experience any odd draining with the Evolv after three days of traveling in my bag. No experience with the Cloupor chip yet.

Yeah, some people seem to get great results and others don't , very weird . I think it's consistency related , these seem to be all over the place from great to terrible lol.

I put the same Efest batteries aside in favor of a Sony vtc. I didn't know at the time these Efest units were 10A continuous rated. I found out by ending up with a shorted atty on the dna30 chip. I checked the atty right before I put it on, but snugging up to the 510 connector swung the positive pole bits around inside. Things happen.
The Efest battery didn't have enough amperage to go through the 12A+ cycle. The display would just briefly flash and go dead. I put in the vtc battery and the chip powered up fine. Then the display explained atomizer problem. I will save these Efest units for something else. They do seem to have the claimed discharge mah cycle.
