Here are two pics of my current mods. The wired pen cap is just that. A Bic pencap with a power adapter. The pencap is intended for use while driving, without using a battery. I have a 12v->USB adapter for the car. The usb cable in the pics is connected through a mono headphone cable. Very simple and easy to make. Works as intended too. I am working on installing an in-line voltage adjustment though. Currently the atomiser is receiving about 5v. A little high. But workable.
